Yeah if you dont get wisdom or enervates in raid then you have to be mroe careful. With luck the mana essence will change that. Its one reason im not taking ERT. My raid is stingy with mana buffs so the well as a major.minor and lucid dreams for the minor i feel. maybe ert for minor. unsure

The bare minimum to keep disc ok in randoms.
The interaction between the LB talent and the PW:B/LB pvp talent is wrongly designed also.
It needs to be a shield on 3 targets, not all allied players in range. It is a waste of 1 normal talent, and one pvp talent, the way it is currently designed.
This is probably working as intended from devs pov.
The mana situation is obnoxious in the extreme in pvp though. With how they buffed huntards, and how strong other classes are like rogues and DH’s, its ridiculous that mana is supposedly supposed to matter, but dps resource happily goes on never mattering. This would likely be solved by reducing a bit the mana cost of penance, pw:s, and sw:p/ptw.

As only what I would consider a sub par arena player I definitely find myself having a hard time in S3 against DK’s and fury warriors, the damage feels so insane at times that I can die even through stacking multiple CD’s - other than that things feel pretty normal against most other melee classes as disc, still not totally sure why they left DH’s with mana burn but that’s a convo for a different day
As a Holy priest, I enjoy being interrupted on every single spell cast aside from instant cast stuff. It would be nice to have two schools of casts like every other caster class in the game (except maybe druid but let’s be honest about their godly kit of instant casts). There’s only so many times you can fake cast a heal on a teammate who’s at 60%. I miss that one skill that reduced the interrupt time by like 30% holy priests used to have.

Blizzard decided in TBC that druids and pallies are the only viable healers. Everyone else is just a mistake. Truly skilled players have been able to make do, as best they can, but I guarantee if any skilled priest rolled one of these other classes, they would be better than the majority of any healers of any class.
If you can make do with a priest, you’ve pretty much earned the achievement of being a skiller player.
It sucks too because priest is my favorite class. I don’t know why. It was my first class, so much nostalgia all the way back to classic. But I’m definitely rerolling. It’s so much worse now than ever before. I used to have a shock factor when someone messed with me. But nowadays, if someone see’s a priest warmode in open world pvp, they always attack you, because it’s an easy free kill. It really sucks how gimped priests are now and how much blizzard apparently hates them.

I’ve been around for a long time. Disc has never been in a worse place and I keep hearing nerf…Druids mostly stay at the top of both PVE and PVP content and seems like they get left alone or buffed.
I am just going to weather the storm on my disc. I do a lot of graveyard running but it is hands down the funnest class to play in wow. Just a shame that Bliz no longer listens to input from it’s customer base (or it sure seems that way).

Outside of Grevious weeks it’s not too terrible, but yeah, there are far better picks for healers in M+
I agree.
In a way, I’m a little glad that these issues are finally showing up in PVE. PVP healers have had to deal with this for a long time, to the point that 90% of the healing community in pvp has quit.
I just cant wait for BFA to be over. Its the worst! I hope the next expansion is better.

just from watching Streamers I very rarely see a Disc Priest anymore. Everyone seems to be Resto of either flavor or Pally. I could be wrong but I dont think I have seen a lot of Priests Healers during this entire expansion.

MC is that strategic spell you can cast to suckin the interrupt…only really works in a 1v1 situation tho.
bare minimum isnt enough for me to go back to heals. The nerf to Shadow still makes it an awesome spec to play. Stuff being a healer anymore and continually having your butt handed to you on a platter by melee.
What I dont get is why Glimmer spec Paladins are so OP and yet the rest of the healing classes are struggling. All of this just because Arena players said priests have too much mana. Its crap. I dont think Ill ever go back to being heals in PVP.
