TIME OF ACTIVITY: We are taking votes in our Discord right now for the best times and dates and we will know the best times and dates in the next couple weeks for escheduled events!

MATURITY: We are going to say “18+” on our tag but we’re not going to ask you about your age. Our guild is based on sometimes ‘mature’ themes (beheadings, characters dying descriptively, etc). We ask that no matter your age that you have an 18+ mentality in the sense that you’re an adult. If you’re not, act like it. If you are mature, that means you also won’t be childish OOCly - antagonizing your guild members unnecessarily, using racial/homophobic slurs, or whatever else prevents being inclusive as an OOC community. If you are a bigot, we do not want you.

ATTITUDE: We understand your character might be a diabolic Syndicate in disguise or innately rebellious, but please don’t take this as an opportunity to quip up at every possible moment and be a perpetually edgy character… or an edgy person OOCly for that matter. A good balance of such an attitude if your character possesses it is a story key; on the same coin, a good balance of your attitude as an individual helps go a long way, too.

OOC ATTITUDE: 4-chan or passive aggressive attitudes, social media negativity, etc. won’t be tolerated here; being snarky, sexist, hateful towards who or what someone is, racist… WILL NOT be tolerated in this guild. We don’t want to be your parents, we want to have fun roleplaying. End of story.

GUILD RP ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is made to be hard, gaudy, and “blue-collar”. We are a militia who have lost our homes or individuals who are affiliated with these uprooted folk of Alterac. With that, keep in mind we want your character to have the right appearance for their role. So with that in mind, we do not encourage ridiculous uniforms, Cataclysm raid gear, or any gear that is gigantic, blocky, excessively lighted or appearing, especially of it has special affects like lightning, magma, ice, etc. We’d prefer you to wear things like hoods and fur cloaks or ram hide shawls as they would in the more colder mountains of Alterac. While you may not get sick, cut yourself, get bruised up, eat, etc. we invite you to challenge your character’s everyday life and their most realistic portrayals. Try to “feel” how your character is and express it in your content!

TRUE ALTERACI CULTURE & IDENTITY
This guild strives to provide an immersive and ideal Alteraci culture based on what the Warcraft setting, lore, and Blizzard has given us. Often, you may see me even using various lore sources to make my explanations. While we may incorporate some things similar to what was used in Medieval Europe, we will by no means be a direct reflection of anything or any events based on real world history, specifically that time period. What we will stick to is what is strictly Blizzard content in an attempt to stay as lore-accurate as possible.

RETAKING THE HOMEFRONT & AIDING THE ALLIANCE
The Kingdom of New Alterac is based on General Hath’s vision that the Alterac kingdom put the preservation of the human race (and its allies) above that of Alterac’s continued independence, and that is exactly what we intend to do now in the modern era. Because of this, the Kingdom will not only stay in the Alterac Mountains but will be travelling across the whole Lordaeron continent with fellow Northlander allies; and because of Anduin and the Alliance’s great work in the Tirisfal Glades, it is without question that these Alteraci wish to redeem their names once and for all so that when the intelligent Crushridge and rotten Syndicate are finally cast out of the Alterac Mountains, the New Alterac people can establish an era of prosperity for themselves.

NORTHLANDER CULTURE
This guild will also create and observe Alteraci culture and the Alterac nation’s traditions. Cultural events such as formal balls, marriages, and other celebrations and festivities of the Alteraci people will be observed and practiced by this guild. Any cultural ideas that Blizzard has provided (like Syndicate sympathizing, supporting orcish internment camps, orcish slavery, ram hide cloaks, ram training/riding, or wearing snow fur materials or what have you, and) will be observed with accuracy and realism.

APPROACHABILITY
We will remain inclusive, not exclusive. You (except trolls and lolrpers) are welcomed to RP with us! I don’t care who you are or what your guild tag is. That also means when we roleplay in Alterac or the Hillsbrad Foothills or anywhere we RP, you can too!

THE FACTIONS

The Church (of the Holy Light)

This guild offers one of the best atmospheres to find a canon and lore abiding church RP scene that you can really get behind!

The summary of the Church RP is this [and backed up with lore examples]:

"Lordaeron was the home of the Church of the Light, influencing both Lordaeron and Quel’Thalas with its teachings. The Church birthed the Knights of the Silver Hand; but the Knights and the Holy Light were no match for the Scourge" [WoW - The RP Game] The Alterac Chapel and Churches like in Alterac would have been and will be “a place of worship where the citizens… seek spiritual enlightenment, an ministering to the masses to depeen their faith through meditating, communing, and tithing.” [WC2 Game Manual]. It also said Archbishop Alonsus Faol had “holy writs [that] commandeth that the whole armor of rightousness be worn in the war against evil,”, and therefore there could have been holy writs, or laws, of the Church of the Holy Light that the Alterac Priesthood would have adhered to. [WC2 Game Manual] "The Church sends its people all over the world, spreading the wisdom and comfort of the Holy Light. They also do what they can to help people with more practical matters, that fits with the Holy Light’s teachings of making the world a better place and making yourself better by helping other people. The Church seems to have everyone’s best interests at heart, and they really do their best to help everyone." [Alliance Guide]

The Silver Hand (Order of the Citrine Eagle)

This guild offers one of the best atmospheres to find a canon and lore abiding church RP scene that you can really get behind!

The summary of the Church RP is this [and backed up with lore examples]:

"The image of a proud, regal warrior was depicted on an immense triptych window of stained glass window. Thousands of tiny, colored shards of glass portrayed the man’s broad features and noble bearing. Surrounded by a halo of golden light, the man held a mighty warhammer in one hand and a large, leatherbound tome in the other. The inscription on the tome read:Esarus thar no’Darador”—“By Blood and Honor We Serve.” [OB&H]

Uther Lightbringer, apprentice to Archbishop Alonsus Faol, learned that faith alone couldn’t defeat the Horde. Many Northshire Clerics were slain during the First War, prompting the Archbishop to rebuild the Order to provide hope and faith to Lordaeron’s citizens. Recognizing the need for defense as well as healing, Uther took up sword and shield, calling upon the most pious Knights of Lordaeron. Many joined, forming the Knights of the Silver Hand, aiming to cast back the Orcish Horde.

Paladins, a holy order of warriors, were formed to defend and shepherd the war-torn populace of Lordaeron. Archbishop Faol perceived that the pious Clerics of Northshire, who suffered heavy losses in the First War, were ill-suited for combat. He sought those of great virtue among the knighthood of Lordaeron and tutored them in the ways of magic. Led by Uther, these Paladins, christened the Knights of the Silver Hand, were tasked with healing wounds and restoring faith in the promise of freedom from Orcish tyranny.

Paladins are imbued with divine power to heal wounds and cure diseases, possessing great strength and wisdom to rally their brethren and give glory to the Light. Their leadership and strength help turn the tide of war and ensure humanity’s survival. With enough experience, one of the Silver Hand could feel the strength and grace of the Light flow through their very limbs .

The Silver Hand Paladin, like Tirion, might pray every night, with duty as a constant. The majority of one’s life can be spent defending the kingdom and realm. Honor and enthusiasm have won a few, such as Tirion, the rank of knight at the tender age of eighteen. Knights serve their Kings with undying loyalty. [WC2 Game Manual][Of Blood & Honor Book]

    New Alterac Newsletter
    05/02/2025
    _______________

Until our name change to the Kingdom of New Alterac this March which makes our 12th anniversary as a guild dating back to 2013 as the original City-State of Alterac, we went on a brief hiatus because of me. However, I am back and resubbed to WoW. The officer core is discussing remaining neutral or if we will become an Alliance centric Alterac kingdom, but regardless of our ultimatum you can expect we will provide a quality RP atmosphere and cater to character (storyline) development to the best of our capabilities.

    ๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬†♔†▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑
    NEW ALTERAC TRIVIA
    Did you know…

    - . . . that the Kingdom of New Alterac is an Alterac centric kingdom guild that welcomes most characters?
    - . . . that the Kingdom of New Alterac ) was and is still are the oldest, active Alterac guild on the server (2013-2025)?
    - . . . that we welcome ALL nationalities of humans, dwarves, Quel’dorei & potentially ANY Alliance races?
    - . . . that any classes, even warlocks who can hide their fel magic aura are accepted?
    - . . . that we’re looking for potential officers and active, dedicated roleplayers?

How does this guild handle the fact that Alterac and Strahnbrad are currently occupied by the Horde and Dark Rangers? That leaves the Fingers which have standing Alliance outposts and the valley which appears to be Stormpike Clan territory (by the imperial claim from Magni) and the Frostwolf Clan.

Not problematic because the stance we’re taking is that we’re neutral so we will be having both Frostwolf AND Stormpike Ambassadors (and perhaps even Ravenholdt and/or Syndicate)! So Alterac Valley was in a thick clash during Vanilla WoW, but in Cataclysm and beyond, we saw Syvlannas annihilate the Stormpikes who teamed up with the Gilneas Liberation Front and the survivors of Southshore getting plague bombed. So fast forwarding that to now, we do see that there is a Hode flight path to Strahnbrad which is great because it gives us a good start.

We also may even be using WoD Horde garrisons for our base of operations since they have a snowy ambience for a Frostwolf settlement since Alliance and Horde can both access them in the same raid group.

That is why our kingdom is uniquely neutral, separate from both factions, but allied to both.

And if you look at it from a historical standpoint, Alterac was the first real attempt before the Argents to bring humans and orcs together. They labeled it a “non-aggresison pact”, and Aiden Perenolde, the king of Alterac, was able to negotiate this with them.

So it would make sense that Alterac would be potentially a great pot full of awesome potential; Alterac City and Strahnbrad would be accessible under the Horde and the Stormpikes would still have their holdings accessible for the Alliance.

Since we are multiethnic and completely neutral, you would also see goblins involved as well as other Alterac native races such as if people were to play Winterax Tribe Ice Trolls (trolls native to Alterac Valley) or even Gnolls who in Warcraft 3 were mentioned to have originated from both the Alterac and Redridge Mountains so they could be hired like mercenaries used to be from mercenary camps. The Wildpaw Tribe are indigenous to the Alterac Valley and Alterac too.

Ogres would be welcomed who might have once had ties to the Crushridge Clan and perhaps even half-ogre spawns (cough cough like Rexxar cough cough) would be around in these days after it’s been so many years since Orcs first came to Azeroth.

So there are ample ideas that could be explored in this setting that we have never seen before! Humans and orcs who once held bitter rivals setting these things aside for the greater good of the prosperity of ALL humanoids (Elves, Dwarves, gnomes, orcs, trolls, humans, naga, murlocs, gnolls, etc. etc. etc.) as a whole regardless of what race, ethnicity, background, or gender they are.

Ravenholdt also has Wrathion being his birthplace so there’s so many avenues of opportunities that could be done!

I’d watch out for this guild and guy broski… He’s a known problem on the server due to making so many failed scarlet guilds or going about how he makes a guild and never stays put as gm his guilds only last a week or at most a month and keeps people in the dark on things. Just vanishes

Voltaire once said the Holy Roman Empire was neither holy nor roman nor an empire.

The same can be said about this New Alterac in that it is neither Alteraci nor Scarlet nor anything really substantial. Also, make better flags.

We have decided we will not push the neutral prerogative as per an agreement within the guild so hopefully you’ll find it within yourself to find us one day!

I would love to hear more about what the views then will be regarding the other factions. Currently playing an archer from the region who is (low key) looking for a guild ^^

I would just flat out avoid this guild Kormed is a known racist, Alteraci N@zi was his nickname since like 2012. A Google search will likely lead you to more info, but between 2012 and 2016, he played Adelwulf Heidler in a guild called the Alteraci National Party. He’s also been the GM of several Scarlet guilds with clear N@zi overtones and hasn’t seemed to have changed his ways at all. But he also recruits anything that moves, so people in his guilds are likely unaware of any of this until someone tells them or they start noticing. And by then, their name is attached.

Im curious how this fits into the lore of the game given that as of BFA, the Horde controls the ruins of Alterac and no efforts have been made by the Alliance to contest this at all.

That was my train of thought also.

Per the Canon Lore, Alterac is owned by the Forsaken and as well the council of Kings for the Alliance of Lordaeron has stripped away any and all claims and rights of any Alterac noble. I.E the Reason the Syndicate became a thing. So anyone Rping as a Alterac noble with lands and titles in Alterac is not following the written lore. If I recall per-warcraft three there is a Quest called the Last Alterac Noble.

It doesn’t at all. None of it does.

This, however, is untrue. Plenty of Alteraci, nobles and commoners alike, supported the Alliance and dethroned their king. The Syndicate are those that followed their king into exile.

LOL you’re so bad you pulled up on an alt? Who is your real main you bot? Are you too scared to get called out so you have to hide behind an alt on a burner account? LOL what is this, Twitter?

That’s actually a lie I never did any of that I wasn’t even online back when that guy ran that. Check my alts and stop trying to lie on my name just so you can feel good about your baseless and factless hate. You’re really the hatemongerer but more power to you. I owned up to things I did in my RP - I RPed at an “Emperor” of an “Elective Monarchy” because I was a 15 year old kid trying to make a Holy Roman inspired RP guild. But I never have, did, or done, or will do /V@zi RP. So lay off the pipe.

I also don’t just recruit anyone who walks or talks. I might have did that during the point of the a whole year ago or last summer but now I do walk up RP in Stormwind or world RP where we engage with new recruits. We also have an IC and OOC recruitment process and require people to fill out a mandatory application. If you’d like to fill it out, you’re welcomed to. But then I’d have to decline you because your quality of RP is about as good as your ability to gather facts – non-existent and a disgrace then.

So actually, no, I don’t just recruit anyone– I wouldn’t recruit YOUR sorry azz.

Here’s what I have spoken about on my Alterac Compendium that you can read with all the facts.

Here’s the timeline for Alteraci and if this could be a possibility or not. In the book that came out with VANILLA WoW, “World of Warcraft - The Roleplaying Game By Azamor_”: “In the east, Lordaeron still boasts several human settlements, but it is nowhere near the towering symbol of humanity’s might that it once was. Hillsbrad and Kul Tiras are still mostly under human control, and a few settlements hold out in Silverpine Forest and the Alterac Mountains.” These aren’t just Syndicate settlements by the way; they’re talking about the Alliance.

When the Cataclysm comes, the Syndicate is hardly wiped out.

Leading up to the Cataclysm in the book “The Shattering”, "Garrosh referred to a treaty between the Horde and the Alliance, signed shortly after the fall of the Lich King. Both factions had been sorely damaged by the long battle, and both sideshad agreed to a cessation of hostilities, including the struggles Alterac… for a brief time."

So if there was a ceasefire in Alterac, do you think that the Syndicate or even an Alliance centric faction of humans and Alliance races in Alterac would have been messed with? No… there were bigger fish to fry, like Garrosh’s mutiny, in Orgirmmar and Kalimdor. And even in the aftermath of his death, we were still in an armistice and peace treaty.

As for the Alteraci who were not with the Alliance as of the Cataclysm though, the Syndicate, Captain Nials says in (Quest:Stromgarde Badges) that came out as a quest in Cataclysm says: “The [Syndicate] in Stromgarde do battle with our contingent of Stromgarde Militia there.” So they, or Alteraci, are still in the Uplands and Arathi from Cataclysm. And not only were they able to make it from the Alterac Mountains but to actually put up a resistance or battle.

Nothing changed when we get to BFA or the “current day” as you say albeit Strahnbrad and Alterac City are out of the equation now, sure. “As if the Defilers were not trouble enough, Syndicate agents still slither down from the Alterac mountains to drive off honest Alliance farmers. Punish them.” (Quest:Sins of the Syndicate) So if the Syndicate are still capable of coming from the “Alterac Mountains”, do you think that it would be so hard for Alteraci to exist in the mountains too? We’re not even a few hundred strong like the Syndicate, either, so would it be EASIER or HARDER to find our remnants than theirs?

So all this is to say that while yes, Strahnbrad and Alterac City are owned by the Horde, that is not even the focal point of our guild. Historically there’s so much land that we don’t see in game so Strahnbrad and Alterac City are a footnote to the regional RP we’re trying to procure.

In the Day of the Dragon book, it says Alterac had a “coastline” and “naval colonies”. Furthermore, the Barony of Mordis was a part of Alterac until the Forsaksen turned Baron Mordis into one of the Forsaken Undead [Shadows of Ice Book]. The top of the barony is now occupied by dwarves, which would be a great RP event series of bringing Alteraci dwarves into the fold which is canon. It also states Dorgar Stoenbrow was the “Lord of the Red Caverns” and a Dwarven Scarlet Warrior, Mountain King, and hero.

Furthermore, that doesn’t even get into the reconstruction of Southshore that will be taking place and the potential for Durnholde Keep which was led by Aedelas Blackmoore who albeit his keep was with the Lordaeronian kingdom was he himself of Alteraci bloodline and had a banner of Alterac in his keep. [Lord of the Clans] "
“The main supply center to the Battle of Alterac, Southshore is often under siege by the Horde.”" [Trading Card Game] Thus, we will be working on restoring Southshore and other dillapilated lands of Hillsbrad and Old Lordaeron with, “Raleigh the Devout who survived the destruction of Southshore and came with a cadre of Silver Hand paladins.” [Legion Questline] It also says as of the present day: “Following the armistice, several years after its destruction, Southshore has been reclaimed from the Forsaken by the Alliance who are undergoing the process of cleaning up the remaining threats.” [ World of Warcraft: Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms]

So this is to say that perhaps the Horde own Strahnbrad and Alterac City, but there is still so much untapped potential in the Alterac Mountains themselves but if not the Mountains then the whole Hillsbrad region as a whole where the Alliance presence is becoming alive and active as ever.

So do you believe that Alteraci who are a part of the Alliance might be in the Alterac Mountains still, or do just the Syndicate get an Alterac zone hall pass?

Did a little digging, it looks like this guy was also banned from the Moon Guard Wiki in 2024 and was pretty upset by the Citrine Eagle guild that broke off. Rough state to be caught up in. Wonder what they’ll end up doing since The Syndicate come back as villains aligned with Marran Trollbane, the Scarlet Crusade, and the Defias Brotherhood

I did a little digging myself and I see you only have 2 posts and they’re all on my forums so who’s alt are you L0L

but anyways, playing into your trolling hypotheticals… It’s sad when a certain Moon Guard wikia sucks so bad that they have to ban me from it when all my pages predate the admin who banned me (Berenal in the Blades of Greymane) and the person who got made an admin for making edits to the pages I created (Zaria who stole the Citrine Eagle from me).

I literally taught Zaria what the MG Wikia was and how to use it and was on it from 2013 till 2025 and Zaria only hopped on 2 years later in 2015 and became an admin before me in the same region I wrote all the MG Wikia pages on that Zaria edited to get admin. Make that maek sense.

If you actually bothered to look at the logs of the Citrine Eagle’s original page, you’ll actually see I’m the page’s creator.

Do you think someone has the right to ban your writing if you were the author of a book all because they edited on your book story after you, didn’t bother to even give you credit, and got mad when you wanted to keep using the book YOU started?

What happened was Maxen the GM of the MG Wikia cowed me years ago back in 2015 and basically suggested that I was going to not be able to use the MG Wikia if I didn’t bow down to Zaria and let Zaria have the guild when it is MY CONCEPT I CREATED and had NUMEROUS HIGHLORDS and YEARS OF HISTORY before she decided she got to own it and split my guild in half with a schism without even talking to me OOCly about it first.

But anyways, back to things that aren’t from 2015 and related to things present now…

We have a faction called the “Red Dawn” now that is going to be a part of our guild RP, that’s what we’re doing. But this also just goes to show the Syndicate and Scarlets and all the RP I’ve been doing since, you know, I was 12 years old was actually kinda right. :^)

People used to laugh at me when I said the Scarlet Renegades weren’t backed by the Alliance and everyone said Joseph the Awakened was dead but guess what? He’s not he’s now the Scarlet Crusade’s leader and still Champion because he is wielding Ravager.

It’s as if Blizzard has been watching me since 2013 and said, you know what, I’m going to create a whole faction of every side of Kormed has RPed - in Stromgarde as a half-Stromic, in Alterac as a half-Alteraci, and with the Scarlet Crusade for decades.
