Im guessing you missed the part where covanent sets are like badluck protection for players not getting drops. Do campaign quests, do callings (those chests have chance to drop gear, i got a 181 helm today). Youll get gear one way or an other just that people actually have to apply effort now.

220? Nah. That’s too much for doing nothing.
They SHOULD upgrade to 190 though. That way it’s above LFR and M0 but not as good as normal raid.

20 k anima is really huge amount for 220ilvl…

Spare me the tears. You’re not raiding and your 207 ilevel is more than enough to defeat the mean mobs that come after you in open world quests.
i do raid with pugs, just after two weeks castle on normal does not interest me anymore, and i just want hc denatthrius, else just meh. 
for alts catching up. why is this a question?
