The Game Master said you guys at Tech support are the best result to fix this issue if you can. My request is can take an item from my inventory I equipped and transfer it to a guildmate. I have no use for it outside of cosmetic, but they need it for an upgrade. There was a misunderstanding when loot was being handed out when defeating Al’ar in TBC classic anniversary. Are you guys able to see my tickets where I conversed with the game masters? If so that makes this task very easy to resolve.

If the item doesn’t have a trade timer, and your friend did not qualify for the loot, no one can help you transfer this.
If it helps any, I have been playing wow since Classic was actually Classic, and I have seen this happen 1000’s of times. I have seen 1000’s of players open tickets. I have 0 instances of blizzard ever moving loot around, giving missed loot, or even restoring accidentally deleted loot. They used to have a restore item feature some time ago, and it was for accidentally deleted items or somethnig along those lines. Blizzard doesnt even restore hardcore characters lost when their servers go down, they dont restore lost rating or points on DC - even in their tournaments, if you DC, oh well.
Again Im sorry, but whatever GM failed to tell you this and sent you anywhere to ask something like that did you a great disservice.
I suppose the GM isn’t really allowed to say “No, and that’s final”. Sending the requester off to the forums is an effective way to get them off the queue, but it’s not very upfront.
There was a time they used to do something like this, but it was like 20 years ago. They removed an item from my inventory and gave it to a guild member. I suppose it depends on the situation which is why I created the ticket. Now I don’t expect the same people of that era working now so things has changed the last time I made a request like this.
The used to, but then development stepped in and gave players the ability to trade, turning an unofficial game policy into the current rules.
If it’s a upgrade I don’t believe it can be traded, but if it can be traded there’s a 2 hour timer. If you equip or enchant it, it removed the timer and it can no longer be traded.
If you clicked on it to equip it then NO they can’t and it’s never been possible to un bind an item so you can give it to someone else. And if it was given to the wrong player as loot then that is also a NO, be more careful in future is all I can suggest. If item was bind on pickup it wouldn’t be able to be transferred.
