This was very common back in vanilla. I don’t think I had a duel request since pandaria.
Somebody tried it today! I was in Darkshire just minding my business reading a quest at the NPC. Kept spamming me with duel requests so it made it hard to accept my quest. Just no dude, a lvl 25 hunter does not want to duel you. I just want to do quests, get transmogs, and get to 30 and fly. Fly away from you!
There is still a ton of dueling that goes on in Goldshire too.

It has its ups and downs. Its value to get xp faster is there. plus you get renown if TOF is selected. I favor it of late since many chars go to pvp if only for 216 gear (korthia I jsut do not like anymore). So I easily have the 59 to upgrade unrated gear on the 60 ding.
Past few levelers I had the bene of 60’s are up in here alot. they can help speed things up. Or recover from newer runners not so up to speed on the dungeon. Necrotic boss 3 and 4…yeah, either smooth as silk or smooth as coarse sand paper lol.
I did what op did but “cheated”. I used same account for BOA access. But new server, illidan.
fresh starts have some appeal. I have SL issues, yes. Older wow though is loved.
That char on off days works up gold for illidan use now.
I agree a lot is good but!!! you in bfa low level cannot eat any of the food you make or wear half the clothes you make from professions!! I find it really annoying that they level us up fast but cannot use what you normally would before the squish in each area
I had someone try to duel with me in Exiles Reach. Thinking a new account wouldn’t be able to see that they had heirlooms. Good thing that I don’t duel ever. But it was still annoying. Since when did Exiles Reach turn into Gold Shire Inn
and now following with my alt Spottedcalf we created our specialty guild Mulgore Steakhouse. Just completed working together as a team guild achievement. So now with this new account will be working on guild achievements as I am the only real member in the guild. Everyone else are my alts. But that helps to make the game fun again and eliminates the drama.

I think dumping players into BFA after exiles and calling us champions feels really dumb.
They don’t even explain any of the WoW lore or story. It’s just all a dump of old meaningless content. They don’t try to explain anything. The BFA dungeons are also a lot.
No chromie time access on first character.
