Remove Item Durability And/Or Repair Costs

it is time. 20th Anniversay of old, rp-style hell that no one asked for. Improve the QoL.

As well, m+ players act awful during and after MDI. The repair cost are insane and extremely demotivational. I feel like I cant afford to try with some groups.

It’s a gold sink, it’s supposed to take your money, and it’s not supposed to feel good

Gear repair and transmog should be 2g per item to mog, and 4g per item to repair. TOPS! We need gold sinks, but not like this… should not cost me 800g to leave the house and go RP with my neighbor lol

100% acceptable. I shoudlnt have to do dailies or farm mats for money to run disappointment. A price is okay, but not the current price.

Also, I’d like Blizz to use some of the dirty auction-saurus money to fund a study of why players lose their minds during and after mdi. They generally seem to takes multiple steps back when it comes to the performance of the average pug group in m+.

631 sham. Smoooooth sailing and enjoyable groups. Until recently. Players acting like they just bought their chars. It is insane to me and I would like to understand this phenomenon more.

Xal talking trash when she dont even wear shoes and repair bills only add to this frustration.

it is NOT time. theres inflation still.

The cost on everything has gotten out of hand. Repairs I get as a gold sink, but transmog is ridiculous. I get the punishment for dying, but there needs to be a look at the costs on transmog.

three words: intended gold sink. its not going away.

Ok, repair no longer costs gold.

Quests no longer reward gold.

You can go into dungeons and raids and it’s like there are tanks just playing pranks … you end up dying right off the bat … and have to repair. Sometimes I look at the repair bill now and it is horrific! What is the deal? Yah, It gets very old.

What ‘wow’ do you live in?

The one where I recognize that repair currently functions as a necessary gold sink to keep in-game inflation down.

Either repair costs or transmog costs. But one of them has got to go.

A gold sink is something added to the game to positively adjust the economy. This is something added to the game to coerce players into purchasing tokens to improve Blizz’ bottom line, and has nothing at all to do with the in game economy.

WoW had repair costs long before the token was ever a thing. Its important to keep a stream of gold flowing out of the game to keep inflation in check. Otherwise you end up with healing potions costing 50k gold and new players/casuals don’t stand a chance.

I’m necroing this thread because repairs/transmog fees are both lame and need to go away from Blizzard entirely.

Those dirty democrats artificially inflated the cost of oil which had a domino effect on everything from rent to groceries, to freaking transmogs.

Explain your party’s tariffs then.

Well, that’s how you get Mexico to pay for the wall or China to stop selling lead painted toys or stop the Alliance from taking from the indigenous Tauren’s Barrens!

What Tarrifs do is make the current situation with repairs even worse.
