Soon the new evolution of pvp will be upon us and all these warriors rogues windwalkers ret paladins and all these other mongrels who rely on addons will be vanquished as is in the prophecy, we will no longer be countered because mouthdroolerx has a wa telling him pillar of frost has been pressed. I cannot wait.

How did ret get drug into this? where’s the disarm? (and don’t you say glare, if a frost dk lets themselves get hit by glare that’s on them XD)

Idk if you realize this but you can’t be disarmed if you sleet people into a stun before pressing your 1 button burst macro.

Never used weak auras. Never had a problem knowing pillar of frost got popped.
If anything massive amounts of cope is going to vanish instantly when the addons are a crutch crowd are the same rating or worse

If you want to just say words knowing that youre being difficult on purpose i dont really have a reason to engage further.
do you think your anecdotal experience is a benchmark for the average world of warcraft warrior/rogue/ret/hunter/ww player?
if you can genuinely argue that keyboardslayerx doesnt have mes’s weak aura pack to play the game for him i dont know what video game youre playing and would love the client.
do you know how annoying it is to see cringe ret paladins pretend to be a melee class while also doing unhealable damage just to bubble and then spell bop immediately after because you got them to 2%

dragon stun is 2 seconds in pvp and blind breaks as soon as you start your go. so they literally just immediately disarm and your entire go is gone unless you trinket in which case follow up cc is then applied because you trinketed a disarm.
pretending that doesnt happen in any universe is just delusional and bad rage bait.
I think finding a player that goes up or down in rating based on where they’ve been on average the past few years is going to be really hard.
honk honk addons is degenerate gameplay but it wasn’t making a massive difference in the way people coped.

addons in pvp historically is just cheating, now imagine the shock everyone is going to experience when they can no longer track defensives, offensives, cc’s and are forced into being hyper aware in comparison to their autopilot game play of having a tool tell you when to press specific buttons.
im not saying the rank ones and glads arent going to be rank ones or glads, im saying everyone in general HOPEFULLY gets worse at pvp which will make the game more fun since you arent going to have .1 second responses to when things occur and awareness is going to be a massive factor in the game again on top of positioning.
hopefully also leads to an influx of pvpers since you arent hopelessly outmatched in terms of gameplay
I think it’ll be noticeable at more average levels of play for anything bursty. No trueshot honk honk and people just pop even quicker than they do now.
meanwhile the avg pvper ui is this plus default unlocked omnibar

I dont think either of us know what the average pvper ui is i just know that people who are in my bracket 2200-2600 tend to want every single edge possible to win being weak auras omnibar omnicd and gladius. with the removal of all of that i think it will be a net positive for the game.

because its a DR tracker and trinket tracker? would be better if it was gone, I think automated tracking of anything that could give you an advantage against a person who DOESNT have it is detrimental to the game at all levels.
Never used addons. I just pretend DRs don’t exist. DR trap? Nope. A magician nullified it. Less than a second stun? That person is tough!

Their first post about the addon purge is that they’re adding a DR tracker to the base game and doesn’t the default UI already show medallion cd
unlucky. would be better without it but can still hope they roll it back.
If anything they likely walk back a few of their proposed changes, like not being able to see teammate CDs
