Alliance/Westfall (NA/EST-PVE)/Progression-Focused Guild
Current Progress:
9/9 AQ40 (sub 2hr clear); 8/8 BWL, 10/10 MC, 1/1 Onyxia
Raid Times:
Friday 2000-2300 EST/server (Progression)
Sunday 1900-2200 EST/server (Progression/Farm Content)
Optional 20-man raids also generally Tues/Wed/Sat depending on needs and resets

Outstanding DPS x 2 (prefer mage/rogue/fury warrior)
Also recruiting any classes for Standby status. You will not be required to maintain Core attendance, but will often have the opportunity to hop in when RL happens. This is a great option for those who feel Ethereal is a great social fit but do not have the availability on our raid days.
Application Requirements:
Gear - Pre-Raid BiS for your class at minimum. Beyond that is great, but we understand that there are great players out there for which gear is only window dressing.
Logs - Please have at least 2 weeks of log data for us to review; the more the better!
Age - 18+ as some of our guildies consider profanity to be a comfortable dialect.
About Us:
Ethereal is a guild focused on taking down any raid content that Azeroth has to offer while at the same time maintaining a relaxed, mature, and respectful guild environment. Most of our core raiders played at very high levels in vanilla and expansions beyond and have families, jobs, and (gasp!) mortgages. Because of this, we are committed to getting the most out of our raid time and having a good time while doing it. After coming home from a hard day of adulting, it’s all about getting together with fellow raiders and kicking internet dragons into oblivion, right?
We know that it’s easy to find a raiding guild, but we take that a few steps over the line and beyond to form a group that goes beyond raid times and into other server activities (alts, PVP), other games (that “retail” place we hear about sometimes), and especially into late-night Discord conversations which may or may not be fueled by the beverage of your choice.
A successful Ethereal applicant will be invited to the guild as a Trial-level member. During this time you will be expected to come tough, buffed, and ready to… well, raid. We do not recruit to stuff our bench and this is your time to shine both in raid performance as well as how you interact with the rest of the guild. After 2 weeks (or 4 raids, whichever occurs last) you will have the opportunity for promotion to Core status.
We utilize EPGP for current-tier (at this time, AQ40) loot distribution with a few priority adjustments for certain items (e.g. Eye of C’thun). Loot from past tiers is distributed via mainspec/offspec rolls. Trial members can obtain loot in raids after it has been passed by Core members.
