No worries. We all get frustrated. I frequently rant about class nerfs.
If you want to advocate for an actual change, make your message easy to understand. Identify the issue, explain why it’s a problem for the game or Blizz or at least more people than just you, propose a simple solution that people can get behind, or at least not oppose. Make it something Blizz can adjust with minimum work that won’t be unfair to others. You might also submit it through the in-game suggestion submission box.

I hear you. To be perfectly honest, I assumed this was a wide-spread problem and that someone else more articulate than myself would have written a better post and this would have been talked about haha. I think I’m seeing so far from our responses here that the problem is not as big a problem on all servers? Is my server group just that unlucky?
Lots of people have complained about this issue in other threads. Many think the problem is bots and/or multi-boxers picking all the flowers.
In my experience, I get plenty of flowers and don’t experience problems with low collection limits, bots, or multi-boxers. So none of these appear to me to be a problem needing to get fixed.
But I don’t see all of the data, and recognize that my experience may not be representative of the population as a whole.

You play on a dead or deadish server.
These issues are more visible on high to medium population realms with raiding populations, where these players can take advantage of the population to keep prices high and product moving.
I usually farm while eating breakfast and to wind down before bed, mostly to craft my own potions for M+ now, but before to get some raw gold for my brutosaur.
This is the first morning in a very long time I haven’t seen even a dual boxer. Last night? Me and a friend - also a multi-boxer - were hunting down three different sets of boxers to force them out of warmode. (None of them played on our server. We have no idea how they got here, but they’re coming to RP servers because of the stigma we don’t PvP, it seems.)
This is a very new problem that’s only started ramping up this patch. The popularity of gold making streamers doing multi-boxing and showing how easy it is caused a spike in it, leading to problems from Naz’ to transmog markets being overflooded with supply. And trust me, those of us who like to make gold are going to make sure stuff that moves quickly will sell for more (lolzinanthid) so we make more profit.

People did not start multiboxing in 8.3. It takes a lot of work and it’s time-consuming to set up a team that can farm in Nazjatar.
If the fact that his server is dead means he’s the only herbalist when he’s in Naz’jatar, that changes nothing. The spawn rate is too low.
As suggested by Extremes in his other thread, I think it would be good if they make zin’anthid and other mats drop in raids, so end-gamers can use it or sell it for extra gold.

Back to the garrison model of gathering, so raid loggers will never need to go out into the world for gold or mats.
It’s time to add an expulsom trade-in vendor.
Zin’anthid only comes from 1 zone that no one does anymore. There is far more demand than supply.
The whole “no nodes” depends largely on your shard.

Congrats on dumbest thread ever. Boxers are the most efficient farmers out there. They guarantee each node delivers max output. If I roll up as a solo there is no guaranteed that the node will be maxxed out. And since it is insti tapped out the respawn timer in theory should start sooner but that depends on how they coded it. This would mean more spawns per hr.
Boxing is not the issue. It is number of nodes and respawn rates. I also think Zul and Pandaland assaults should spawn the new mats. Also Mech should spawn new mats. Once again zero to do with boxers.
I’m on Gnomeregan, which historically has been billed as a medium-population server. I’m not sure what you mean by dead, but it doesn’t seem dead to me in any respect, and certainly not in node farming. I’m not the only person doing it. Sometimes others get to them first, or while I’m fighting the mob standing right next to it.
In previous expansions, people complained about CRZ being the cause of too few farmable nodes. /shrug

If zin and other mats like anchor weed dropped for endgame raiders, then it would take care of that supply issue.
That is why I spent 3 paragraphs discussing possible solutions for the nodes and respawn rates.

Blizz abandoned 8.3 onwards. 8.3 is released incomplete. They cancelled 8.3.5. They should have either put a new herb on Uldum and Vale or let Zinanthid grow on Uldum and Vale.
I think this is something to do with Blizzard cutting of 800 jobs. The impact is it made 8.3 incomplete.
The ending story with Nzoth could have been more for 8.3.5. But since 8.3.5 got cancelled. The story stopped at 8.3 unpolished and unfinished.
I only have 1 toon which is on Alchemy/Herba and I only play Casual. My Zinanthids seems enough for me to cover me 100% flasked with double potions on every bosses. I do Herba for few minutes and use my Paragon gold to purchase the rest. But if you play more than me, you would need more gold… need more Zinanthids.

I too am seeing the same problem on my server. There is a horde druid multi-boxer flying there everyday all day long. I have even tried to talk to this person on my horde toon and never get a response.Therefore, I believe this account to be a bot. Nothing has been done(pretty sure Blizz does not like bots).
I do not want the herb for the ah, I farm this for 2 characters in order to make flasks,etc for both of them.
This Bot has 5 total druids and the herb is gone once he gets to it. I agree that the respawn rate is way to slow and the amount you get is a joke.
I too would like Blizz to address this problem.
I understand they dont care about multi-boxers, but this bot crap needs to stop.
