Kill Grimoire of Supremacy.
Seriously, gut this talent and let it rot. Then balance the spec to be less cd dependent
No one likes only being good for 20 seconds every 3 minutes. And no one likes being so ill equipped in mythics because, again, only useful damage every 3 minutes.
The idea is good, and having big burst is fun, but I feel the spec went too far into big burst that it became only big burst.
It needs a better balance between burst and sustained damage… just my 2 copper

You could replace ‘Destruction’ with ‘Affliction’ and the thread would still totally make sense!
I mean… OP is right though. I assume he’s referring mainly to pve. Or do your chaos bolts not hit like wet noodles outside of infernals?
The truth is both Affliction and Destruction have turned into specs that rely on a very long cooldown for any sort of meaningful damage with exceedingly boring gameplay in the interim. Both specs have dead talents trees with near zero room for variety.

Shoot, man that’s all 3 specs lmao.

The cooldown for Tyrant is half that of Darkglare/Infernal, so it feels a smidge more interactive than the other spec’s large cooldowns.
Mine are noodles without infernal. Most I’ve seen outside infernal is around 56k. Usually closer to 40k
For comparison, my shadow priests void bolt crits for 34k ish, and she can cast it every 3 seconds without CDs
Chaos bolt outside of infernal sucks. Focused chaos makes it feel like it actually good without CDs. If blizz put focused chaos on the same row as supremacy, we might actually have some talent variety

No I completely understand the point. I am just making light of the matter. I agree with his post completely. IN fact in my initial reply I didn’t even disagree with you either. What level of raiding or pvp has your level ONE TWENTY warlock done? Curious. Just curious is all.
