For some reason, the first thing I though of when I saw this was that it was a caricature of the former Blizzard employee who voices Thrall.
I think High Elf supporters would be livid if this happened.

I would actually be all for this if it was a cosmetic choice. More options are a good thing.

After the conclusion of BfA I don’t really see this as being an insane idea. Hell, It’d be better to simply toss out the two factions all together.
There the idea that wow is being diablotized with all the streamlining and gear focus. Pretty soon it will be world of diablo.
