I’m having the same issue, to get around the lockout issue I just log onto another toon and click a few NPC. grab a quest or something and after that I can back in on the character I was having the issue with. It’s like the authentication server lets go of the file lock on the previous character when it sees another one in use. The issue doesn’t go away, but I can log in.
In my case, if I try and craft something on my warr that character just lags out.
