I’m not saying Blizzard isn’t without fault here. They’re obviously complicating RAF more than is necessary.
And I’m glad people are outraged over it. I’m all for people standing up for what’s right.
But it feels like most of this isn’t over the generally poor re-introduction of RAF, but about this stupid backpack.
It’s like if a new smartphone came out that BLATANTLY (instead of secretly) took, stored, and used all of your private information… and you could get it for FREE … but it only came in light brown. And the most vocal complaint was “wtf man! We wanted other colors!!!”
I’m glad you’re upset, but you’re not addressing the REAL issue here.
(the smartphone analogy will probably be lost on too many people since they freely give up their personal information without so much as a thought ANYWAY)

Any card game is going to be like that regardless. Have to buy cards to stay relevant with the game. Magic the gathering is exactly the same.
If a person knows they are addicting to any activity, etc. At some point they should seek help. Not expect the world to bend around them.
I suffer with my own addictions. I don’t expect the entire world to stop existing.
And in this context, we aren’t talking about gambling, anyways. But paying 200 dollars for a backpack mog.

I for one am not upset. Sure some are salty for not getting the backpack, but it’s less people like you mentioned. This is just Acti-Blizz hate train. It happens on every step they take. Forums just be that way, Youtubers and pseudo-journalists blow it up.
