It’s fascinating how obsessed people who don’t raid Mythic are with people who do.

The problem is only going to grow worse as long as Blizzard offers the few remaining Alliance high end raiders an option to buy their way to the promise land in the form faction transfers.
An easy fix would be to allow faction cross play, which they already have a system like that for BGS but it seems like blizzard has been refusing to do that even when we consider that we fight alongside each other lore wise a lot.
I mean hell, look at covenants we have to pick when even if we saved all 4 of them lol.

No, they are not. The ladder have way more horde than alliance players. Literally 75% of the >1800 are horde.
Also a lot of these top horde guilds were alliance before. Whatever reason dragged players to said faction is an overall issue to the health of the other faction.
I dont see how merging factions will change that. People will keep avoiding alliance races regardless and prolly even more.

Do you remember fighting the Scourge and the Legion? Because, you know, that was the actual focus of Warcraft III, not Alliance vs Horde.

We’re at the point where the only reasonable way to fix it is to just let people group cross faction for PvE. Blizzard will probably stick to their guns until high end activity on alliance simply ceases to be though.

That’s simply not true and shows the problem with talking about Mythic raiding on General Discussion, where so many of you don’t raid (especially Mythic) and are uninformed as a result.
Stoneform and Kyrian Phial both work on some very important bleeds in Nathria, such as bleeds from the first dog on Huntsman and Carnage stacks from Remornia on Denathrius.
Did they make it no longer work on Generals? Yes. But Generals has a built-in mechanic to remove bleeds. Bleed removal is still very useful on other fights.

You then almost killed jainas forces till medivh said stop
There was horde vs alliance tensions in some form
And all that tension was from the previous two games
Until it was immediately set aside for actual problems.
Kinda like every single expansion in WoW’s history.

Cause anyone playing not endgame is a giant newb. This has been the case since Vanilla.
And I would trade my ability to save myself for one that did more damage and allowed my to help save the group. Unless you have a full NE group, the value of Shadowmeld is reduced to an aggro dump (which you shouldn’t need) and the ability to survive a wipe.
And it was nerfed before it ever went live…
And most top PvEers are Horde
No because there still will be tension regardless
My reason for chucking my 2 cents in to get rid of factions is that it doesn’t make much sense story wise anymore. I really like the overarching lore in the wow universe and the faction thing feels outdated nowadays.
Only reason I’m alliance is because alliance still has horde beat RP wise currently with MG having the majority of players even compared to WrA. If I wasn’t interested in RP I’d switch horde in a heartbeat, such a big player pool for literally everything else.

There can be tension in the story while still letting factions group together. There is literally no lore reason why we can’t team up. It happens in every expansion. Every place we go has independent groups with people from both factions working together.

Clearly, someone hasn’t readed what I posted earlier on this post. Wanna know why they top pvers are horde? because thats where the player base is, its the only reason as stated by those top players that you are mentioning.
