I’m finding a lot of genuine acceptance in the FFXIV community. My love for Terraria was also recently reignited. On top of that I’ve also been playing a little P99 EverQuest with my sister. Could be argued that game is even more exclusive and elitist but at least I’m not paying a cent for it.
Really not going to miss WoW anytime soon. Might check in every so often to see if the devs and the community gets their collective heads out of their rears, but as it stands I’m so glad to not pay them anything.

Outdoor rewards are already capped below raiding and M+ and this is as it should be. If you want the best of the best in gear, you should be partaking in that content. As an ex-raider who has become an uber casual, you don’t need tier sets for over world mobs.
Take it how you want to then.
You don’t see anyone else wishing the game would die for 864 hours straight either.

There is no solution to this that would make both partys happy at least no the way they want if you want the gear do the progression other wise it honestly makes no since to have mythic gera if your not doing mythic content.
as it stands you can solo just about everything but the last expansion and its always been taht way

I don’t hate anyone here, that’s a bit crazy. No normal, stable, or well adjusted person would hate anyone over a game forum. Anyone who would put that much emotion into a forum or game should seek professional help.
It’s just not everyone compares time spend here as a means just to tear the other down.

it wouldnt even be slightly fare to do anything suggested in this thread. especially to the people that have already been doing the content and people TRUELY dont understand just how drastically something like that would change the game in a way that would honestly make doing mythics pointless out side of maybe just bragging rights and some achivements in raiding.
Tearing down in the same manner that you’ve ranted about how horrible Blizzard and the game is and that you wish the game would die off?
The noticeable difference is that I’m attacking the game not a person like you are now.

I liked how it worked back in BFA when you could recycle gear you got to eventually buy something of Heroic raid quality.
It was still a draining slog but it was a nice thing to have.
I just don’t get that feeling from SLs getting everything from a big ugly vault.
in BFA you still had to put in the effort and unless your gear was up to par it was still hard to do. and you had to do it as a group if you couldnt solo it.
but at the same time BFA was strange cause a piece of heroic dungeon gear could be VASTLY better than whatever mythic piece your using just because its got an OP corruption on it
I think this was before Corruptions came in.
Its funny that you say that because we are going to be able to get tier sets. Just not at any decent ilvl.

BFA was nice for casuals. Visions of N’zoth solo progression up to heroic raid gear. Heroic warfronts - heroic raid gear. Corruptions were a nice op thing that made even low ilvl gear have good value.

I was able to earn 460+ item level in BfA by myself, in a world where 475 was the highest. 460 PvP pieces each week combined with 470 stuff I started getting once I mastered horrific visions. I was totally happy with that. This was earned by just playing the game and doing what I wanted to do.
I want BfA back.

honestrly im gladd corruption is gone nobody should be able to solo the normal raid of the time lol
So it might remove the ones that don’t want to raid from raiding?. Really, if mythic raiding can’t make it on its own merits, with the gear as more the means to an end, maybe we should not have mythic raiding.
Mythic raiding should be done by those that want to do it, Gear should not be the driving reason/factor. I don’t disagree that gear earned should match difficulty attempted, but at the same time the content should be done by those that want to do it.
If the argument is that heroic or mythic lvl gear available from world content would make heroic/mythic pointless/irrelevant outside of other factors, you might as well say that the raids suck and people only do them for gear, maybe making the gear available from other paths will show who likes doing what and who is only doing things because they “have to”.
