This isn’t true, draenei shamans are more popular than dwarf.
Tauren warriors are more popular than blood elves.
Even in classic night elves were more popular than humans until humans got an OP racial.
A lot of this is honestly player preference, people play orcs completely fine.
Druids also already have a stealth?
You could say the same about troll druids vs tauren but troll druids are 30% of the Horde and tauren druids are 26%… night elves being 92% of the alliance highlights a serious design flaw.
Shadowmeld is why night elves are the most played race in classic WoW and it’s why they completely outnumber any other alliance druid race.
Humanoids doesn’t mean Humans. Elves are humanoids.
Orcs aren’t a good counter point because they have a posture option.
Draenei being more popualr that Dwarves likely hinges on two things: They only Alliance option from 2007-2010; Shaman are a low pop-class so most folks aren’t making serious alts
Classic is a video game of min/maxers who are attempting to make up for being “last picked in dodgeball” in 2005. Of course Shadowmeld matters more there, it’s a group looking for that sort of thing. In retail, it’s less pronounced.
Finally, as for trolls taking over Tauren for hDruids - Tauren have a lot of cosmetic negatives, and druids are a very popular class. Allowing a more beloved race to be a popular class isn’t apples-to-apples with the Shaman changes. Again, Druids are like, the first most popular, and without Monks, Shaman are usually last.
no matter what his number is, it’s never going to be accurate. No idea where he sourced those numbers, so most likely a troll, or in case he isn’t, well he’ll have to show those numbers.
Besides, nothing can take into account people just stopping from playing.
Last Database Update : 20 Dec 2019 - Players with 1/8 or more bosses killed in Mythic mode
That is 0% representative of the entire druid populace.
How should I understand those stats ?
Let’s discuss about PvP Players representation for instance.
You can’t use the representation % of players above 2200 rating to know whether a class is overpowered or not, because some classes are globally underplayed because they seem to be less fun . That does NOT mean that they are underpowered.
Nevertheless, you can use our new global stats to know, for instance, if a class is overpowered or underpowered .
Indeed, if there are 20% of druids above 2200 rating, but if globally they are 30% of players, they are UNDERrepresented above 2200 rating, which could mean that they are underpowered in PvP. If there are 20% of druids above 2200 rating, but if globally they are 10% of players, in that case, they are OVERrepresented above 2200 rating, which could mean that they are OVERpowered in PvP.
Of couse, you use the same reasoning for pve players, professions, races etc …
