Shadowlands has been out for months now. Some covenant abilities are straight up broken. Meanwhile other classes don’t even come close. What makes you think they’re going to balance anything?
They really don’t want to buff other abilities to be in line with the top abilities because then everyone would be OP, but they also don’t want to nerf the best abilities because then people would cry about their covenant being broken and now they have to switch.
It’s a lose lose situation for blizzard. They really just need to scrap covenant abilities in 9.1 Remove them from the game.
You know, this gives me hope that Blizz will remove so many of the Covenant restrictions, like renown battle pets. Let me use Jelly Cat on my Night Fae Blizz!
Oh I don’t think they will balance them. All I’m saying is I wish they would (be able to) do that instead. Read my other post if you wanna understand how exactly I feel about all of it. I’m not happy about any of it
The battle pet restrictions are absolutely ridiculous. In some other post a player commented that his daughter is really sad she can’t use them and that made me really sad. I get it with mounts to a degree but PETS? I’m sure there’s a few people out there who would be all bUt wHy cAn tHaT vEntHyr dUdE uSe mY KyrIan Pet but I think that’s a tiny minority and also one nobody, including Blizzard, should ever listen to.
I agree. I’m fine not having access to every covenant, but for a example my shaman if I want to play Ele I am basically forced to go necro due to pvp, but if I ever went enhance necro is absolute garbage for enhance so it sucks. Can’t even multi spec properly if you lost the covenant lotto.
