Lol, “outrageous lie”.
Ease up, drama queen. I only care about Soulbinds and Renown. You can cry over the loss of progress in your stupid table facebook games all you like, it doesn’t change the fact my character’s power is fine.

We get it dude, you are a radical centrist. You dont need to flaunt it.
Are Necrolords getting new tunings other than Fleshcraft?
Well spoken, I wonder how can wow be more popular than ESO or other games who are so focused not to punish you for anything in game, not like wow. But in all honesty they don’t have toxic community like WoW does. People still are mad when people can solo old mythic raids and get same looks like they have for less effort , or grinds they removed. That’s why blizzard is afraid to bring back mage tower because toxic WoW community would be furious about it. That was just example but to stay on topic it’s mostly because of the worst community in gaming industry
Honestly it’s pretty fast to do renown. Just do your campaingn, run raids, M+, and WQ and you can likely catch up in a few days, at least to the point where you have your soulbinds unlocked.
There is a simple fix to this.
Make all the abilities available to all covenants, just change their apperance to match the specific covenant.
Will blizzard have the balls to do it? obviously not, they will find some stupid excuse.
As a vampire mage, I love the tmog, the covenant abilities? Boring. I really like what night fae mages get, but I do not like the night fae theme…
/shrug. It sucks.
Before the SL launch, bliz was going to make choosing a covenant pernamently binding to that toon. The player outcry made they make it so you could change it, but that had to put some salt in their prideful wounds.
So they made it as painful to the player as possible to change covs. I read that in the upcoming patch that we get another 40 renown levels to grind for, making a covenant switch even more painful.
Let’s not forget why lots of us would switch: Covenant ability. Bliz told us that they would work hard to balance covenant abilities… Epic fail on their part. Let’s talk about druid boomkin convoke…
The covenant I wanted to being with was:
Kyrian for raid
Venthyr for M+
Necrolord for PvP
So, tell me, how do I do this? And before you even say “meaningful choice” let’s not pretend that’s actually a thing with covenant.
This is why these systems don’t work, and then the Devs (honestly interns with the direction of this game lately) make it a chore to switch because of their own incompetence with balancing
Argument like this really needs to stop.
This is like asking if you just need to get to work and it takes 1.5 hours to get to work on a bus why would you buy a car that can get you there in 25 minutes?
The answer is this: it’s none of your effing business.
Why not? How does it hurt you if I want to optimize my gameplay by hearth retalent, respec, re ovenant, re-whatever?
Are you trying to white knight me and dont want me to “have to go through that”.
and if you dont want to go through it then you can choose not too.
Reason why game was way, way better before legion. Warlords was last expansions where game had any meaning. Now is just get borrowed power and lose it next expansion. And they make it just harder for themself. Every two years they had to make up something new. Why don’t they learn from other games . They started to pick up stuff from other games which is good , but for real
You’re not understanding what I’m saying
If covenants get nerfed and buffed and you’re only doing LFR, why does it matter if the said covenant Is getting nerfed/buffed? You play what you like because you’re not a world first mythic raider that needs the bis covenant
Too bad you aren’t speaking from personal experience…
Logically it doesn’t, but you are asking the wrong question, which is my point.
If the players want to see bigger numbers, they should be able to, regardless what content they are doing. The question instead should be this:
If covenant abilities were marketed as “meaningful choice”, yet the power levels are now being adjusted (and have been adjusted before live), is it perhaps an indication that either power should be tied to said choice, or perhaps there shouldn’t be a need for this choice at all?
Edit: my point is this. If you don’t care, great, all the power to you. But if others do, then it’s not your place to say whether they “need” to or not. Maybe I don’t need extra 100 DPS to clear LFR, but if I can kill the boss faster than I could before why not?
If I was a world first mythic raider I’d probably not use the forums as it would cause alot of heat towards me so yes you’re right in a way
So, why assume you know what any other player wants in game? Maybe they want to be good at low end M+? They should pick the best covenant for this. Several sites already have everything sim’d so you can select the best covenant for your goals.
You don’t have to be world first to be affected by covenants strengths and weaknesses.
You’re not getting an invite from a pug if you’re a necrolord Marksman hunter, that’s wasting everyone’s time, regardless if it’s a +2 or a +20
You can however run your own key and hope you snag some people but you’re not doing yourself or anyone a favor if not picking your best covenant for m+
Blizzard stated it shouldn’t matter what covenant you pick.
