Why do bad players always call anything they don’t do esport content , what part of timing a 15 or doing a raid above lfr is esports, why are so many people nothing but spare parts?
You don’t like doing end game grinding. Grinding gear out of a vault. Cause that’s all it is now.
86% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
There’s a 50/50 chance this statement contains accurate statistics… but there’s only a 10% chance of that.
It can be also be claimed that the majority do not like covenants and that’s why the huge drop off in players.
Well, yeah. Take a look at the game director’s Twitter. Raiding Mythic race to world first is the only thing he posts about.
That’s literally the exact opposite of what they should do their raid and dungeon content is the only thing that carries the game nowadays
My understanding (now I’ll have to find the source to cite) is that e-sports didn’t actually make much money last few rounds. In fact I think it was a money loser after all the set up / resource costs. I’ll have to dig that up somehow. But I’m so lazy.
I agree.
the last story quests are the first time I actually saw the storyline without going into LFR.
most of the raid or die devs got fired or ran away and the I am more hopeful now than ever that the new designers will develop for fun and retention rather than personal aggrandisement.
The big problem isn’t the end game content. The big problem is that most casual content has been nerfed and instead people are expected to chase the endgame content.
Bring back super hard heroics and mythic 0s and then let the eSports fight it out for points and time and brag rights, but the hard content shouldnt be mythic 15+ or mythic raid world firsts it should be heroic raids, and heroic dungeons and mythic 0 dungeons
true… idc about mogs and pets and islands and easy covenant switching.
idk why ppl are appeased at all.
shouldve stayed mad a lil longer while we had leverage
Making up numbers is fun!
Personally, I have stopped raiding altogether. Maybe guild raiding is still alive but pugging is mostly dead. I have gotten AOTC on most bosses in last 4 expansions and I have killed 2 bosses on normal in current patch. No grps, little motivation. Even mythic plus participation has fallen. Could just be due to fewer people but still…Now I log in, do some korthia dailies and leave…
Sigh. I guess some people are enjoying the content.
I know that feel ![]()
I want to say that I hope the esports dies but at the same time I wouldn’t want that to cause wow to be less important for the company. I just don’t want decisions made for esports gamers to affect the RPG gamers you know?
Yes I do know and I feel exactly the same way ![]()
must be where the cash shop whales hang out, in the endgame manual matchmaking content areas
where people feel the most pressure to have better gear and to perform better
Hardly anybody watches. Their revenue is propped up by cash shop ie token sales.
They should focus on small amounts of content people find boring? That makes no sense.
