If you look at the kill a lot of us died to it like I said it was a blown call we were supposed to stack and some people didn’t so we ended up getting like a ring through the whole stack.

After seeing this ive given up hope, espeically after seeing pictures of people lining them up in the city. Why would blizz ever consider putting effort into ANYTHING. When a word i wont mention of people will just spend $90 for a skin… Like at that point we cant blame the company its the consumer.
Why hire a team and develop/fix a game when you can just add a skin and keep your investors satisfied. The Amount of money spent vs profited on wow must be astronomical.

Playing as a Feral Druid DPS is significantly more challenging than playing as a TBC Hunter.

All while managing the worst AI pet in the game, typically needing to use tonks.

Feral is easy, all rotations are. Bringing up rotations is what bad players do.
You guys are comparing parses in expansions that had literally 100,000s of thousands more or less parses. likely millions you could have a 99 parse and be ranked like 20k in TBC. a 99 parse is like top 1000 now(and odds are a large majority of those are held by the same player/same player on the same class on a 2nd mage etc.)
Also it depends on which part of TBC, cause when melee weaving came in during sunwell when ustated u quit hunters where doing like 4.5k DPS cause they could do there entire rotation perfectly take astep forward get a melee/raptor strike in and step back out before the next auto shot is q’d to go.
Mix maxing 100s in sunwell as a hunter was an insane skill set and was often cheated with a 3rd party application.
Parsing is a meme now with how small the community is, there isnt 1 guild thjat goes for speed kills on my server which makes it almost impossible to get 100s unless your crit rng on logs is 10% higher than ur average.
Also go ahead and look into mage logs top 100 parses its not all gear dependent, everyone in the top 100 parses have nearly a 50% fireball crit rate when the average is like 35-38? (this is my 3rd alt mage who has better parses on maloriak with 5 kills vs my main with 20… why?) CRIT RNG/IGNITE RNG/PROCS ON ADD SPAWNS

Parsing as a fire mage currently is 100% RNG and also horde have a massive advantage, troll is like 1200 DPS ahead. Simply because you snapshot it with combust.

TBCC hunter was the hardest rotation hands down, he quit during sunwell when it started to become popular and it was 2nd to none as far as how much more complicated it was compared to every other spec then add in having to control a pet that has the worst AI in the game.
He didn’t get to melee weaving since he quit before sunwell.
I play a lot of classes(to many tbh) Hunters are huge early too like my opener can have me at 45k dps or 35k dps depending on LNL procs from black arrow rng. Elemental shaman with Lava burst proc rng…
CATA is just a horrible game(besides t11 content honestly amazing firelands is horrid imo) and it only continued cause we were addicted to such a great thing ONCE. SOD wouldve been great than they changed the idea from 1-60 and a raid off the bat to running around for runes and getting bis to outgear it with a green, it wasnt patches it was mini expansions. So when people bring gup hard classes no shot melee weaving TBCC hunter isn’t #1, the stuff it has to deal with
the “grey” zone or w.e its called just needs to be killed. If your not tanking you dont need to get range to shoot an arrow into something xD 5head. Or at the very least a consistent grey area no matter what kind of boss your fighting. I PTR’d Rag. HIs box is THE WORST. You can literally be 15 yards away from model and still wont be autoshotting.

It basically instantly dismissed your pet.
So if your pet is about to die you can tonk it then call it and it was full health again and it also brought it back to you so if he got stuck on certain bosses like Lurker.
