Well, I think that presents it’s own concern. I do not believe paladins are this “unkillable juggernaut” that Blizzard had envisioned. We are not an extremely tanky spec that we are aloud to sit in LoS constantly spamming Emancipate on ourselves as we run towards our foe.
I feel like LAotL and Emancipate won’t help us push forward towards our enemy more so that it will encourage us to kite our enemy as we wait for 2 min “go attempts” with Wings, BoSac, and SoV.
I just don’t want to encourage an overly defensive play style that could result in extremely long PvP matches. I understand that’s what the game is right now, and personally I believe that to be a problem to move away from instead of cater to.
Additionally, I think LAotL had it’s own problems with not being a designated gap opener/closer ability. Being tied to our damage abilities often results in it not being active when we want it or not being able to use it when no enemy is around, in range, or in CC.
The cons out weigh the pros when it comes to LAotL/Emanicapte and simply getting Cavalier baseline with an new, better gap closer in it’s place in the talent tree is a simpler solution.
