They’ve said they’re actively working towards a way to make the weekly box less RNG focused i.e which bosses you bonus rolled in raid, which dungeons you farmed, a potential choice of multiple options.
obviously nothing is set in stone but i don’t think the weekly box will return in its current iteration at all

its still rng if you open a weekly chest in shadowlands and 6 pieces of gear pop up guess what its still rng because you have no idea what is going to come for the weekly chest.

while yes, this still has RNG tied to it, what would your solution be? a giant page pop up and you just say “i want this one” and boom the item is yours?

Seriously, what? Feels enough like an expansion to me, and I’m pretty critical of Blizzard right now.
I’m just hoping the changes they are making to leveling and classes are done right. And that the gearing systems don’t feel like garbage. I don’t understand why you need a million new things to make an expansion. Focus more on the quality of content we are getting with SL, I say.
the gearing system is the exact same as bfa.
To me, it feels like BFA was 8.1, and Shadowlands started at 8.2.
