If they remove the rep requirement, I think that Pathfinder would be fine.
But, they want the rep requirement so you have to log in daily to do your chores.

I agree we now live in an entitlement culture. I also agree the public has a bias towards behaving badly.
However, being a leader means you manage the environment and people around it. You don’t simply react to it. You certainly should not show open distain towards your most rabid customers.
The consistent complaint I’ve seen out of beta testing is that blizzard doesn’t listen.
Ion made me a believer with how he handled that moment.
Ion’s lack of maturity is pathetic.
My issue isn’t flying, it’s the arrogant disrespect on the part of Blizzard’s leadership. This is one example of a bigger pattern.

Seems those cheers from the virtual ticket stream were only coming from the front row.
I want to buy flying with gold, period. Even if it costs 300k gold it would be worth it to me to do that than wait.
I don’t buy people stating that the time it takes is arduous though, since most of the things you need to do are just part of playing the xpac. It’s just how long those things take that bothers me.
I would compromise with explore the new zones, do all the quests, do the intro Covenant thing, and get flying. If they add a new set of zones in a subsequent patch, restrict it to running and have that apply again. That way you’re not grinding in a future patch to play in a past patch, which is what has been going on.
In your case I would prob just cry because spending all your login time doing dailies in 3 xpacs sounds awful.
And your evidence is “I like pathfinder, so there’s your proof.” Doesn’t get much more anecdotal than that. Good luck!
I don’t care one way or the other but I’ll bite. I absolutely agree that people don’t make hundreds of threads praising Pathfinder. But I’ve yet to see entire long threads opposing it either because the people who do support it/don’t care about it tend to make that vocal in the opposition threads.
Those in opposition make the threads. Opinions within those threads tend to run 33.3/33.3/33.3 for hate it/like it/don’t care about it.
The negative bias is our tendency not only to register negative stimuli more readily but also to dwell on these events. Also known as positive-negative asymmetry, this negativity bias means that we feel the sting of a rebuke more powerfully than we feel the joy of praise.
This psychological phenomenon explains why bad first impressions can be so difficult to overcome and why past traumas can have such long lingering effects. In almost any interaction, we are more likely to notice negative things and later remember them more vividly.
As humans, we tend to:
For example, you might be having a great day at work when a co-worker makes an offhand comment that you find irritating. You then find yourself stewing over his words for the rest of the workday. When you get home from work and someone asks you how your day was, you reply that it was terrible—even though it was overall quite good despite that one negative incident.
So in your example you cited 66% of people wouldnt mind, or would like if it was reduced or eliminated. That basically makes my point.
Thanks for the vocab lesson. Is there a test this Thursday?
When the devs laughed as they were boo’d by the announcement of patchfinder for shadowlands that showed me that patchfinder is on its death bed.
Well if you’re gonna Fox News it, 66% of the people also are fine with it how it is.
That’s the long and short of it. If the requirements where playing through the expac was how you could unlock it now, then yea that’s worth it. But no, I’m not going to repgrind 3 expacs to level in zones with flying when I have other expacs that I can fly in just fine now. From a time investment standpoint, it’s not worth it and people that demand I do all that regrinding to activate something that I can do in several other leveling zones already can get stuffed. None of those pathfinder expacs are relevant content anymore anyway.
Nothing about that is vocabulary it is psychology. You are proving your immaturity and sense of entitlement more and more every response.
Poor widdle warwock doesn’t wanna pway the game and work to get his fwing every expawc.
::hands him a tissue::
Friggen kids man…should have a age restriction to play the game of life…
But what are they fine with? You are either siding on the time gating, annoying aspect of this, or the more pragmatic, faster, player choice based side. In my opinion, I would like to think that most of those “I don’t care either way” people would let those of us that don’t want to spend most of our time traveling, fly sooner. But hey, maybe I have too much faith.
They should really just post a poll or something and do what people want. This kind of forced gameplay is why people have soured to WoW so much and are playing Classic.
Keep in mind, you don’t have to buy shadowlands in order to level a pandaren death knight through pandaria. Also curious if I can be leveling a demon hunter through duskwood. And classic is over there → It’s slower paced but it’s an actual rpg and feels like playing a game instead of doing a job.
I’ve already preordered shadowlands though since I’d buy it eventually anyway. Had a level boost, 30 days game time, and misc cosmetic stuff and battle pet. And as much as I loathe bfa now, it was a blast for the first couple months when it was all shiney new and pumped soundtrack. I’ll play shadowlands while it’s a blast, think I’ll be able to break away the addictive shackles a little sooner when it starts feeling like a job. Edit: Heh… had to unshackle myself from the unshackled…
I mean, I’m a Mage…I know reading is hard. Good luck with your Psych lesson!
Eh one spec of warlock plays like a mage, so same difference, but you are just more squishy
also funny he says reading is hard but thinks psychology is spelling >.>
Was it the vocal minority that voted with their wallet in WOD when they tried to remove it forcing them to keep it?
Do you only post in threads you disagree with? Like seriously everything you post is usually aggressively mocking the OP.
I thought getting Pathfinder was a piece of cake. Had the first part done by the 3rd week of BFA’s release.
Maybe if Blizz relaxed the rep part and you only need Revered for the first bit that might smooth things over. I dunno. Also maybe roll it out a little quicker.
I mean your anecdotal evidence is equally retarded. You are attributing the failures of retail because of flying? So why didnt the number fall in BC when flying was released? Your just an idiot who thinks they know something they obviously know nothing about using anecdotal unsupported theories while complaining about the exact same thing. Kick rocks clown
