There is no actual way of doing this outside of massively abusing the exploit a ton of people almost got banned for. And by massively, I mean massively.

imagine having 7 or more mythic raiding alts that you have to get cloak on and do all the weeklies and everything. this is super annoying i cut down the characters i play to 5 now because the grind is just too intense even if i just want to pvp i still have to grind out essences that are needed and upgrade my cloak for the item level advantage and will have to at least attempt mythic on these alts in order to get the best azerite gear. i feel like this expansion is too alt unfriendly as it stands which makes the game less fun

Not sure if your trolling or not. In the Mother research, the very first point you put into gives you a sanity orb which restores your sanity to full and can be used three times per Horrific Vision, which is effectively three lives. So long as you don’t overextend yourself and get murdered by the mobs anyway. I’ve heard the orb can revive but I don’t know how that function works.

I don’t think the patch is that bad but I didn’t really even start playing it until Thursday. My only gripe is that they abandoned the WQ format and went back to the stone age where you have to run around everywhere trying to find crap. I don’t need to explore MoP and Cata zones again.

This is the absolute root of most of this frustration. “I’m angry because the next person in line might be more powerful than me, and that just wont do for my ego.”
Back in the day, this was called “keeping up with the Jones’s”, but I guess that’s way too boomer for people these days.
So, I call a spade a spade. It’s jealousy. Jealousy is really a personality trait that you should strive to control and suppress throughout life. It does no one a shred of good.

Unless you’re in Limit or Method. If you’re a world-first Mythic race raider, then my bad and my apologies. In that case, I get your frustration. You may damn well lose your sponsorship payments if you don’t keep up with your team.

Side note : Jones in the Fast lane was a cool game back in the boomer days of Sierra being a game company.
It was a lack of a raid tier and a new zone to do world quests in that burned me in WoD.

I use tons of products that I don’t own stock in the company that makes them. Is this a rule now, that we have to own stock in the companies that make our products to be able to provide feedback or criticisms?
This is a lame response though. Fans of the IP and the game want to see it get better. As a business owner I would never ever ever tell a customer to stop using my product because they were unhappy. I would want their feedback regardless of whether it was constructive or not.
Wrong, Blizzard is a huge company that makes billions every year. As fans of the IP and of the company, there is no reason we shouldn’t be holding them to a very high standard. There are so many other smaller dev teams and game studios that are putting out way superior products with far less resources.
Please Metro, please stop apologizing for this company. I understand the developers might be working under silly deadlines that have been imposed by the bean counters, but giving this current a version of the game a free pass from criticisms is only going to make a bad product worse.
Again, you are making excuses here again, just stop. Paying customers have right to provide feedback, stop trying to gaslight people into thinking they are wrong for voicing their opinions.

I prefer daily quests to be honest. World quests are kinda boring.
I think it’s more a case of the devs cutting corners. Just hope someone comes up with some good addons to alleviate the traveling time.
But why try to gear so many alts? For me at least in a new patch or expansion I focus on my main, then down the line when content dies out I gear my alts.
6.1 was the worst patch ever released.
If you can HONESTLY say that calling an entire patch the worst ever after 5 days of playing is feedback, then I’ll leave you to it.
You are of course welcome to do this, but I see no benefit to anyone doing it, and it reads purely out of frustration.
If I was frustrated like this, I know a break would help, especially because it seems to keep happening every patch launch!
But best of luck. I’ll leave you guys to it, since the OP seems to have moved on.
