I don’t watch / listen to him much beyond the fact that my roommate does occasionally and I get it from the background. I’d commend some of his attitudes if it didn’t seem like others stood in direct opposition.
So while good for them in any business minded sense… Hell, even if it wasn’t them, as soon as I saw the words “Popular Youtuber(s)” I basically just heaved the biggest, grossest sigh.
i don’t like that channel very much at all but i bothered to watch that video and i don’t really recall him defending blizzard
like i’m pretty sure it’s the only time i’ve ever seen him not be insufferably “blizzard did nothing wrong” and actually criticize them for their garbage behavior
We’re all mostly in agreement that the next expansion is going to be announced at Blizzcon, right? I was on the fence about it, but it looks like they’re pushing some announcements up–either in the hopes of avoiding a tragedy like last year or in hopes of drowning out anger with hype.
So, take this with a healthy grain of salt, but these images were leaked by WeakAuras who also leaked an image suggesting a “class skin” that had been talked about which saw a Death Knight become a Dragon Knight and various abilities become tweaked.
It would seem to line up with the “discover powerful new abilities!” tagline for Gladowlands.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m almost wholly sure that if we get wacky class skin tweaking nonsense I’d be into them.
Later.
On the outset the idea just sounds… Wildly obnoxious. Mostly just because this is Blizzard and the leap from Death Knight to Dragon Knight isn’t even particularly large or anything it’s strikes me as squishing obtuse pegs into misshapen holes.
As much as I’d love class skins, the pessimist in me thinks it will be like allied races where they add all this extra stuff no one asked for and then get burned out before even finishing all classes.
Pretty much every new expansion people start worrying that they won’t announce a new expansion at Blizzcon and every time they’re wrong. The only time they didn’t was during WoD, because it was going so badly they needed to get something out earlier than Blizzcon.
The de-eyeglowified races were edited again on the PTR: the races which had their 3D eyeglow effect removed had the eye texture significantly brightened, and DKs have a new bright eye texture. Here is a poorly edited collage I made
As you can see you can also view DK eyes on allied races now, but they don’t have any new skins/hairtones yet and you can’t actually make one.
Glad to see they improved it, those look so much better now with some actual shine to them. The first version of the updated Death Knight ones looked like dull rubber balls more than eyes
