I’m gonna be wholly honest, we have as much information as we need to know that the story doesn’t exist to be a consistent narrative or setting, it exists exclusively as a vehicle to cart us around set pieces they spend more money marketing than designing.
I don’t think anything so human as writers being too arrogant to course correct is at play here, I’m positive the reality is much more soulless.
