This really explains so much about Blizzard’s culture that I almost feel like I’m crazy. That they are drawing their talent from such a specific pocket of the population, and the only two possible exceptions are people who are already big enough for Blizzard to actively pursue them or a bunch of insanely privileged fans who can afford to take such an insane risk in order to chase the job… That sounds like a recipe for disaster.
