Yes, this is the issue with Blizzard’s “portrayals” of gay people. It doesn’t treat them with the smallest degree of respect or seriousness, it’s almost always a throwaway moment or a joke wherein the fact of the characters being gay is what’s intended to be funny about it. But nope, can’t reach for better, doing so is uncharitable to poor, poor Blizzard.
