Hey. Two more expansions to go including SL, or ~4 years until the last Retail version. We’re almost at the end. Enjoy [Retail] WoW while you can because you never know what’s coming up next.
I will say that BFA would be a terrible candidate for a private server version, unless vulpera.
Yes, but that’s to be expected. People have griped about the game since Vanilla. We all knew that. What’s four more years? It will be a 20-year legacy of QQ talk.
I mean cool, but how do you expect them to do differently?
How is Shadowlands going to be what you want in game if noone has any idea what it is you want or how you choose to play the game?
To be fair, Blizzard ignored basically everything recommended on the beta forums for this expansion. If reasonable suggestions doesn’t work, angrily trolling is at least worth a shot.
Here’s my problem with this argument: It’s not a bad argument. I think people are rightfully upset about this patch.
At the same time, however, why are you holding to the idea that Blizzard dumping all of their resources into Shadowlands instead is somehow a bad thing?
I’m not happy with how the expansion ended. It feels very underwhelming and shallow by Legion standards, but after all the negativity surrounding Battle for Azeroth, and how much people pleaded for them to not repeat the same mistakes in the next expansion, how can you possibly be mad at them for wanting to pool anything and everything in order to not make those same mistakes occur again?
Everyone wanted them to move on as fast as they can. Doing so also means neglecting the current content as a result. Do you want them to focus on patch content, or the content that’s actually going to give them a chance to go back on their mistakes?
Macs are actually fairly reliable on this game not the best but not bad. 8.3 has been the first time gameplay has been altered by Mac specific issues too. I have been playing since cata on macs
Blizzard doesn’t ignore all feedback. This has been proven time after time. Just because they don’t implement what you want doesn’t mean they ignore feedback.
This is why players shouldn’t expect Blizzard to communicate anymore than they do. There’s no reason for them to come an try to have a respectable discussion with a bunch of angry trolls acting like children. I only wish they would start removing them from the forum faster so the rest of us can have actual discussion about the game without all the trolling and spam pushing real discussion to the side.
I wasn’t part of the beta, so don’t direct that at me specifically. They did, however, completely overlook all feedback on the azerite system to the extent that it got a massive overhaul in 8.2. It was essentially the core feature of the expansion, and they were still working on getting it right two patches out from release.
