I haven’t noticed a problem yet. I’m running Catalina 10.15.2 on a late 2013 MacBook Pro. It gets a bit warm while running the game, and I’m certainly not running on top graphics settings, but it’s definitely usable for long-ish sessions.
I think it is only with the intel iris graphic cards. Because I have a brand new Mac late 2019 (thinking I needed to upgrade for this XPac) that I am getting this
