reminds me of the time when my dad came home with a gift for me it was a tshirt with this image on it

i liked MJ but i kept the shirt in the closet because my dad didnt know i was hanging out with the metal heads at that time and the shirt wouldnt have gotten me much “cool points”, wish i still had that shirt though

I had a 8 track player that used 6 D cell batteries. We would skate board and listen to 2112 until the batteries went dead, playing slower and slower.

i was raised on the motown sound. fav radio station CKLW Detroit. it was an AM station. then when FM took ahold, changed to WRIF!

Was lucky to grow up in Chicago, got to see all the bands when they came through either Chicago or Detroit.
