That song came out in 1979
Was just checking out Billy Sheehan’s Youtube page out yesterday…how can anyone not love this guy?
This song has alot of relevance today… Still… Prob always will.
That you most likely will not understand unless you are stoned.
Came here to post this. Excellent songwriters, Roland and Curt.
I’ll add another Perry/Schon/Smith/Valley/Cain hit
Well, now I don’t know whether to post a '70’s or '80’s song. Dang. Guess I’ll just stick with the theme as laid out!
Damn 24 hour ban, can’t post the video
- I wish I lived more in the 80s tbh… cool decade
Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer
“Weird Al” Yankovic - Yoda
Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf
Van Halen - Jump
A-Ha - Take On Me
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
Brunden - …hic!
So many songs to chose from and that one just sorta hit me. I love the driving beat. Also, loved how Curt Smith did a cameo on Psych. lol
Heavy Metal (Takin’ a Ride) - Don Felder
…hic!
I tried to go for something less obvious. Wasn’t sure if it was 80s, since I was listening to it well into the 90s. Released in 1987, in case you were wondering, but sounds eerily relevant to recent events.
Great choice. A friend of mine had a Midnight Oil concert shirt and I always remembered it because of the large handprints on the back from the singer. It’s odd the stuff we remember. lol
Here let me help you out.

And Motorhead is an excellent choice!
No U2?!?!. They were so hot in the 80’s. I used to crank them up as I drove to the beach to surf.
You obviously werent alive in the 80s because thats a 70s disco tune.
Now the 80s Kiss was this…

The 80s were by far the best decade ever. There has been nothing even close since … Time to spin some 80s records on the old turntable
