80 thousand people on Grobb, there is no community

Can we stop the lies about RDF hurting community… when there is no community anymore… the servers were 5-10k in 2008… not 20k plus…

Maybe it’s just you.

I can’t explain what community is to a child… but just think about small town vs city life… 2008 was small town… 2022 is major city… i can get some crayons.

Even on a dead server like mine there is zero community really, I might be at fault here since I’m not the ultra social player but other don’t speak either 90% of the time and this new tool didn’t help at all, its pretty much the same as LFD from retail in term of social interactions in general.

Thank you for making laugh during my number 2. =p

If theres 80k people on a server and you dont fit in among any groups of them… my friend i got bad news for you.

The problem isnt the server.

Im literally on your server you clown. It sounds like you don’t even understand what you’re expecting when you say community

Its a :poop:post. Hes lying to try and prop up a dead argument that was killed by the truth.

Im just giving him a chance to say he has unrealistic expectations of being adopted by people with more self esteem than him

Sounds to me like you got a community of 80 thousand people.

There’s a reason people say New York City is the loneliest place in the world

When people tell you they want a community, telling them there is no community is an answer to a question they did not ask.

So what you’re saying is that just in real life most people want to move to the city (mega realm)?

I leveled another character on Grobb from 60 prior to pre-patch. I met a lot of people in dungeons that I grouped with several times over the couple weeks I leveled. Not only did I have a lot of fun, I got guild offers all the time from cool people I’d probably be playing with now if I wasn’t going to stay on my current server.

Apart from that. I don’t know if I believe it’s 80k individuals on the server–maybe 80k characters? You can read the chat over there really easily is why i’m skeptical. I have no chat addon and i’ve got trade and LFG going in the same window and I can read it well at most times.

Grobb has a really good active community with stand out individuals and guilds so far as I can tell in my limited time playing there.

Healthy community has only ever existed in Classic WoW within the guild framework, regardless of server population.

There is most definitely a community on Grob. I’d wager “Bolognapony” is probably not a good way to introduce yourself to an RP server though.

Every time I hear about Grob I feel bad for the original people on the server. The massive rush of people who went to an RPPvP server who had no intentions of RPing just so they could have a balanced PvP experience has pretty much killed what the server was about.

Wewww chile there’s a lot of ignorant shrill in this thread.

BRB Grabbing Crayons…

Alright back,

Vanilla, TBC, and Wraith all had SMALL SERVER NUMBERS… 5-10k… thats why you thought you had a community back then… blaming RDF (a tool) for loss of your feeling of community is ignorant…

Use your head… RDF has no negatives associated with it… just people like you few.

never met the og kids on Grob have you? lol literally some of the most incel people I have ever met.

It’s too bad the lead person on classic stated there was a large crowd to not have it in the game and they feel they made the right decision.

Maybe if enough of you make the same 100 threads it’ll make a difference.

Just stay away from me, I don’t want to catch the snowflake syndrome going around.

This is a complete lie from someone whos been grobbmob since day 1.
