Are there active players that don’t have the current factions revered on at least one character?
I had Pathfinder Part 1 back on September 5th, 2018. That is about 3 weeks after release. You only need Revered for any of the reps. That can be done in a couple of weeks.
I could NOT agree more. The entire philosophy behind making people do the content they don’t want to do to get the rewards that make the game worth paying for is goofy and bad.
You should be able to get rep by a faction banner. Dropped in any content awards rep. Drop in raids, drop in dungeons, drop at quest turn ins, drop at world quests, etc.
Faction banners would totally replace the whole idea of rep grind in world quests and a rep gain cap would exist where you can only get 1 tier per week or whatever they decide is the appropriate cap.
This way people can spend all day in their day off and get their cap. Without ever having to do a single world quest.
That is the right system and the kind of system that will get the most subscribers. If dailies and world quests are your thing that’ll remain available. If dungeons are your thing grats! You can now earn rep in them again. If raids are your thing grats! Can get rep there too.
Giving everyone access to rep in the content they enjoy is the only way to do this.
Were you not here for all the crying over not having enough gold to buy flying? People were rolling around on these forums throwing tantrums. Of course they wanted epic flying (cuz who can stand flying across Icecrown on a slowazz mount).
The rest of us like pathfinder and free flying for our entire account.
Anyways u guys keep liking all these bad ideas from blizz that wont fix anything i like wow thats why i think they should be better content then farming for flying
You know, there’s no arguing this. The flying feature is set this way. It doesn’t matter how it used to be or what you want, it’s SET. Do what’s required and you can fly.
If you don’t like it, go play something that has flying right away. That’s your only other choice.
If you only PvP or dungeon, then why do you even need to fly (that’s the logical rhetorical quesion)?
Wisdom of the Four Winds costs 2,500g. Completing the zone story achievements in any expansion post WoLK nets you around 10,000g which more than covers that expansion’s Flight costs. Unless you don’t have any flying at all it’s a minor expense. If you have basic flying then going all the way to Master will likely break the bank on that 10,000g but Flying hasn’t required “grinding for gold” since BC/WoLK.
You not liking something doesn’t make it bad. Once I earn the achievement I get flight on all characters. That sounds like good design and like a reward well worth getting to me.
Flight is a reward for doing outdoor content.
