I farmed dreamweaver rep EVERY DAY until a couple of months ago to get the damn mount. The Paragon cache’s RNG is TERRIBLE.

I never understood, last expac, why the faction mounts couldn’t also be bought with curious coins. If you hit the mount jackpot, awesome, you can use your coins for something else. If you don’t get lucky, eventually you’re going to get the mount you want regardless. But Blizzard doesn’t really seem to like win/win situations for players.

I stopped caring about mounts after A: I got my azure sky-noodle, and B: I saw how terrible the 400 mount reward was.

You got lucky then. I opened ( not exaggerating ) approx 500 boxes and I’m still missing 5. I’m in the minority though because I actually liked Paragon mounts.

Sure, you might get a paragon chest once per week.

How many weeks are you going to have to complete chores until you realise that the reward is always another week away?

I also am missing a few from legion content. And it just makes me further sad every time i open one of those caches for dreamweavers and still dont get the mount.

Didn’t Blizz tell us they wouldn’t put mounts in caches like this after Legion? Or am I confused. Again.

Rare mounts from raids/dungeons have been a thing since Vanilla. But those aren’t faction mounts. Faction mount purchases from rep vendors have been a thing since BC and were the norm. It was guaranteed you’d get them if you had the rep and gold. No RNG.

Legion set a bad precedent for having those mounts in caches. We flipped out. They said they heard us. Then went back and did it again.

It’s not as bad as Legion. But still shouldn’t be the norm and we still don’t need more RNG like that. It’s bs.

I hate, hate, hate, hate the BoP stuff in Paragon chests system.

I just want to get exalted, buy the rewards and be done.

Failing that, any collectibles in the chest should be BoE. That would at least give us the choice to grind it out for “free” or give up and purchase it from someone.

But it took me over 800,000 rep to get the Highmountain mount. I’m still missing several toys from BfA despite trying for many months. The system is awful.

I got it my first paragon box.

I still haven’t seen drops from the Legion paragon caches. Mounts from Nightfallen and Army of the Light. I don’t have the toy from Wardens. The pet for the regular Dreamweavers Emissary still eludes me.

A number of the BFA pargaon rewards introduced in 8.1 haven’t dropped for me yet. I think I’m missing one toy each from Proudmoore, 7th (Not sure), and Tortolian still.

All and all, I’ve had much better luck with the drop rates this go around. The drop rates are probably just set generally higher than the Legion counterparts.
