This is one of those things where, if blizz were to apologize and say “Here, let’s give our players something nice for not being able to use something they pay us monthly for” and make some kind of nice gesture to show that WoW is somehow still worth it, the sales wouldn’t drop so sharply.

I was finally able to log in but am unable to use any abilities nor can I pull up the guild screen. Since I am able to finally log in & don’t want to be logged out, I’m afk running in a corner. Perhaps people being able to log in (albeit not being able to do anything else) means that Blizzard is making headway into getting this resolved.
I’m sure that there are people out there who remember having their server shut down…sometimes for days. Heck, I was in a guild on a different server named (My Server is Down>. One of those times it was down for a very long time, Blizzard gave everyone a lot of extra rested XP. I think they gave players extra free game time to on a different occasion.

IPv6 enabled is not a solution for everyone, that’s true but for those who can enable it both game side AND router side(mine was disabled on my router by default) it should work.
Also, I’m not sure if it means much but when I hover my pointer in game over the latency it shows client protocol ipv6 and world protocol ipv6. Huh…
I am only including the trace with the VPN on (working state) since FIOS traces are worthless and add no useful information. Hopefully having a working route for comparison will help a bit.
