No, patch notes for test builds aren't put out by blizzard. It's always been that way. Maybe once a PTR we'll get a halfway through set up notes, but it's up to 3rd party datamining to get us the rest of the information.09/24/2018 08:45 AMPosted by Faboolicious09/24/2018 08:37 AMPosted by Ripwotlkwar...buddy
We wouldn't need to if blizzard posted the notes for themselves instead of forcing us to 3rd party sources and twitter to find out what their devs are doing.
Rioting over tooltip changes as datamined patch notes is perfectly fine because we don't have a reputable source to get this information from in the first place.
These aren't patch notes, buddy.
Patch notes are in blue. The post is in green AND specifically states that these are tool tip changes.
There are no patch notes because the patch is unplayable on the ptr.
Getting angry because you never bothered to actually read the post on mmo-c is childlike.
09/24/2018 08:37 AMPosted by Ripwotlkwarbuddy09/24/2018 08:34 AMPosted by FabooliciousIt's like you people have never used mmo-c before. Freaking out over tool tip changes, good lord. The correct time to babyrage is when the notes are in blue, not green.

Exactly my thought. Why in the world do I want to go out of my way follow Blizzard on twitter every second of the day? Twitter is such an unprofessional and impersonal platform to post upcoming changes for the community. We have forums and the front page of the launcher with news updates for a reason, I just wish they would utilize them correctly.
lol are rogues getting !@#$ing nerfed again? hahahaha

Again, you refuse or lack the capability to read.
While I agree that blizzard should release test build notes themselves, these are not patch notes.
These are datamined differences between the live build and the build on the PTR.
When mmo-c releases patch notes themselves, they are much more organized than this.
And you lack any critical thinking to understand the intent behind my statement; choosing to argue the validity of information published and not the delivery method....No, patch notes for test builds aren't put out by blizzard. It is infinitely easier to say patch notes rather than "ptr build update 8.1.11063"
Also - Feral: Now requires Level 75, down from 90
Tier 5 Talent, in place of Jagged Wounds
This is not a tooltip change.

I did mention that I agree blizzard should post their builds on the battle.net app and/or website.
However this threads original purpose was to cry about balance "changes", even though they are tool tip changes to reflect previous hotfixes. If the OP and you actually read the "patch notes", you would understand they are tool tip changes.
Obviously, you both didnt.
This entire thread could be avoided by simply reading.
Yes, there are a few non tool tip changes, but nothing as drastic as op mentioned.
Rets "Aura" has been -27% for awhile, either late beta or prepatch

The removal of talents is pretty drastic. (Your quote didn't have my edit)

HAHAHAHHAA f#$! blizzard at this point.
Obviously Sub is the real issue here, not assasination at all. =P
I got exp to play with DH 3*3 yesterday. I don’t play with any other class anymore! I’m sorry hunters.
In 3*3 no one attacks DH. They get free to do whatever they want. It’s impossible burst and mobile.

I read umbrella 21% damage increase for sub and 13% for outlaw. Will see what happens when 8.1 PTR is available.

My apologies, I forgot EU is heading towards a dystopian society.
I have deleted the post. However I cannot remove it from quotes.
Despite our differing opinions on the validity of riots by datamined information, it's uplifting to see someone respectful of the issues plaguing others.09/24/2018 10:54 AMPosted by Faboolicious...This image is illegal in the EU unless you are affiliated with the site it's on. Quite. I have nothing against you personally, it is a shame that in todays society, having a disagreement is considered negative/hostile.
On the topic at hand, if these "notes" are not just tooltip changes, I will gladly admit my mistake. I just believe it is a bit too hasty to come up with these types of debates, considering the test realm isn't playable at this time.
