8.1 feral changes bad - forced aoe talents

Its not bad to still be a bleed class, I have no issues with having to maintain bleeds in my rotation.

But we don't need to be 90% bleed damage and 10% other damage either. I like hitting buttons that do something. I am okay with some pooling of energy, but I don't want to idle and auto attack till Rake/Rip/Roar needs to be refreshed either. I think most would be okay with a more active rotation.


Dont care about this at all. We are ferals, we were never a spamming active class, you with rogues for that.

Ferals are specialized in bleeds and damage over time. If only our bleeds were worth something and hit harder/faster to make up for the energy starvation and lack of active rotation, it would be great. I'd love to put my bleeds all on the boss, and sit doing nothing but auto attacking.

That is the easiest rotation ever, means I have time to provide healing and other things like guidance to members and only have to worry about keeping dots up. The issue is they dont hit for !@#$ currently.

My 113 alt demon hunter is pulling 3.5k less dps than my 340il feral, which caps at around 7k. When design is noticeably bad like that, then yea, auto attacking doesn't feel so great when you feel like your bleeds are mediocre.

Now they've added this "aoe" tookit for us in 8.1 and this is just not wat ferals needed, ugh. There are so many other dps options to provide aoe. All they had to do was buff the damage numbers/reduce energy of swipe and make it considerable spammable as long as u managed energy and buffed the trash bleed numbers and boom, there it is..

aoe with simple number buffs/nerfs, not add an entire toolkit that isn't based on what our focus is as a feral in the first place, ST...
