600 tender for a single 1h candy cane sword. I’m crying rn.
Why is it so high compared to the 2h??? I feel like some of these tender prices are at mount price and they keep scaling.

I want to know why we’re capped at 1k each month. Why can’t it be like last month, 1 to 1 for the first thousand, 1 to 2 for the second thousand, and on and on. I will never be able to get everything I want because while they rotate back some old things, there’s always new stuff as well.
crying cause you actually want to buy that, or?
How much is the 2H? I haven’t taken a look at this month’s trading post.
Also, I spent like 4.5k tenders on I think 3/4 of last month’s catalog. Broke af man.
I do wish the reward for the month was the Winter Veil themed weapons as a pack. I’d love to have them, but they are really pricey and a bit too seasonal for a long term mog.
Because the Trading Post is designed to be a reward for staying subscribed and playing the game. Basically, get the stuff you want and save your tender by not getting stuff you don’t want.
The tender you kept is maintained so you have access to more tenders the next month. Continue this pattern and remember that items will reenter the trading post at times, so if you couldn’t get it the first time around … stay subscribed, save 'em, and get more for whenever it pops up on the Trading Post next.
All of this is per design and how the thing is supposed to work.
I’m just shocked how every month there are dozens of hundreds of posts complaining how bad the post is and nothing is good… but then also post after post of people being out of tenders constantly.
I get that not all the threads are from the same people, people have different opinions, but it certainly seems like a lot of the people who don’t see anything good still buy whatever they can each month
yeah because if u buy one thign suddenly you’re bankrupt
The staff is hella pog
Yes, I want the 1h sword but its currently 600 tenders. The 2h is 200 less iirc, but warlocks dont use 2h weapons. I own the staff, but I currently have a 1h sword and offhand and you cant transmog it to staff unless its a legion artifact mog.
Yeah, the weapon mog prices are ridiculous.
They expect you to spend 60% of all of your available Tender that you can obtain in one month on a single weapon mog?
When mounts are 750, and pets are 200-300, maybe 500 at most?
lol
I was a returning player. I had 6k Tenders when i returned in TWW. I consumed many of them. I now have 1.5k left. I should start saving tenders and stop wasting it to unwanted items.
Should be mounts, cool looking range weapon, cool looking Tmog sets, nothing more.
I almost got the 1h sword and shield, but I play mostly Ret now on my Draenei, so she’ll get the 2 hander Cheeseburger XL mace or w/e it’s called.
My guess would be that theres more classes that can use a 1h sword than there are classes who would use a 2h sword
If only it would spawn random toys from your toy box when you hit with it.
The more tender things cost, the more desperate people become to buy their “bundles” that include extra Trader’s Tender, which was supposed to be an exclusively in-game currency (i.e. not purchased with real $ or even gold).
It’s money-grubbing all the way down, baybee.
You can mog a single 1h on both hands lol
The trading post in general tends to be pretty overpriced but it the candy blade is one of the most egregious examples because it’s more expensive than most other weapons (which typically go for ~250 for a new model or less for a recolor of an existing weapon) while also being something that will probably see zero use outside of the holiday season.
Yeah, except that every single month I want about 25% of the items, which costs way more than the 1000 tendies I get. So every month I am left with very little left over, and I’ve been dragging along something in my carry over slot for months on end now.
And throughout the month, I literally finish 1000’s upon thousand’s of points in the journal, just let us earn some fraction of the points in tendies (like they did in November).
Here’s the thing though… saying that you want “25%” of the items still means that you want one fourth of all the items in the store. When the purpose of it is that this thing is going to keep going for years.
So… either prioritize, or use the tenders now and don’t have as many available for next month. That’s how the thing is supposed to work. Because this thing ain’t about to give a huge increased amount of tenders ever.
Sorry but this is entirely irrelevant. They informed us as well that the additional tenders we got were a one-time thing specific to that time, because of the anniversary. The event may be on-going, but an anniversary is kinda a specific time when it happens.
So… yeah.
That’s all there is to it. Either prioritize, or enjoy the stuff you can get. Both are valid options, but you aren’t going to get a steady increase in the amount of tenders you get. Even if they were to increase it by 250, 500, or even a 1000 a month… that just means folks would want to have even more stuff or the prices would increase to match the increased amount of tenders people have.
Sorry but, save it or not - that’s your choice. Both are valid, but both lead to different amount of tenders saved at the end of a month.
