Sure, I’ve been killed while capping and defending. You know, the Horde die, too. The difference is that they don’t give up. And yeah, it sometimes takes a group to defend. Anyone who’s ever tried to recap an Alliance bunker will know that there’s usually at least 2 Horde defenders (frequently a rogue and a class that can healer or do massive CC.) If we push and recap, they come back with more, and they’ll send more reinforcements to defend.
The Alliance, on the other hand, well, they might try something once. Then they rez at the closest graveyard only to charge into the Horde, die then complain about not being able to make it.
I’m a paladin… so I can’t stealth. I can still manage to work my way around the mess and head south, and I’m always happy to support my teammates (this means sometimes you dismount to help even the odds!)

Why I don’t: All my resources are horde side, I don’t believe wow pvp is good pvp so rolling a character to just pvp would not be in in my best interest, I have two 60 toons and a third would probably be more detrimental than helpful.
You probably know the current state of alliance better than I do. I maxed exalted 2 toons in AV while the alliance were doing premades, the second time I knew what was waiting and still did it. I like to think I have what it takes to rally toward a common goal.
Swfty has started to rally alliance in AV. He is showing it is possible (idk if he is winning but they are good games and I believe that does stear alliance in the direction to winning AV more.)

By “adapting” you mean crying to Blizzard to change premade queing? I mean, it did work.

Alliance have been completely demoralized and have given up after weeks of seeing no wins. It’s no different than horde were in retail during the years alliance won AV 80% and horde blacklisted. I’m not sure how to restore alliance confidence now.
I’m done with AV as long as horde can shut alliance out of all bonus honor. I’m having fun in WSG where horde can and do lose. Fair map and all that.
Sounds like a bunch of excuses.
I normally take FW gy by myself, Sidore Wing Commander runs by the FW Elite and they usually fight, I then kill the wolf grab the flag and pick off the guards 1 by 1 while they beat on Sidore.
I then bleed the Elite trying not to pull aggro until hes close to dead.
But then 3 Warlocks, 2 Shadow Preists, and 6 Mages show up and were screwed.

At least as many Alliance were complaining, too. The premade crap was exactly that… Crap!
Now folks actually have to participate in PvP (or at least look like they are.)
At this point i’m fairly sure they make changes just to spite the Classic playerbase. Remember who’s leading Corporate-Blizzard.

Your ranks going down because of other ally farming harder, ranking aint about winning, its about honor per hour, thats what you should be chasing.
Your narrative. Spin it how you want to. Blame Horde. Blame alliance. Blame the devs. Hell blame Canada.
After a point it doesn’t matter who’s to blame. What matters is how it’s handled.

You should be winning about 1 in 137 games played.
- This is normal now.
- This is the win:loss ration that blizzard has forced on the alliance.
- Blizzard thinks this is appropriate and “fair” for the horde.
I suggest you do what thousands of other alliance have done this week… Go play something else and let horde rot in the queue.

I haven’t bothered with AV yet. But when it comes to WSG, I switch to leveling an alt if I lose 0-3 three times in a row.
Meanwhile in lower level brackets non of this mess is going on. Short queues. Lots of engaging pvp. No afk leechers. No bots that I’ve noticed. No forum…complaints. Yea life is good.
If you want casual semi-competitive fun fair short queue bgs. Just make a twink already. You don’t even have to go full blown bis to have some semblance of fun/fairish games.
I love having my toon ready to go. Log in. Check my bags. Restock if necessary. Queue up and engage the pvp.
This game is too short to sit around complaining to blizz. Adjust yourself.

I think i see a possible solution here. The only person who is at fault here is you. Make yourself more valuable to a team or derank.
