It’s dumb. I was going to do some, but now? Nah. No point. i can just do the raid and knock out both timewalking quests at once in under 1 hour. No need to touch the dungeons

timewalking quest has always been a joke.
i wish theyd take it away already.
am i supposed to be excited at the idea of doing 5 dungeons for subpar gear that’s gonna be vendored?
one of the worst things you could do with your time.
I don’t think I’ve ever done Timewalking to gear up besides the 5 you need for the chest, so I don’t really think this is the issue. What ilvl should it reward?
should be 580 or whatever the heroic gear is.

There’s pretty much no reason to do Timewalking dungeons as it stands if you’re level 80. The raid is faster, knocks out both quests (597 and 610) and drops 597 gear instead of unupgradable 554.
Being realistic, 571. There’s no reason it shouldn’t get you in the door for heroics.

580 or the very least higher than 571 which is 1/8 adventure gear

I’ve heard that having a level 80 in the group also nerfs leveling xp. Is that right?
Easy piece of champion gear plus the currency which we will want for the anniversary event from what Ive seen
The reason “why” there were so many dungeon changes…
They wanted to differentiate between normal and heroic… as they were almost indistinguishable before.
Doesn’t surprise me then that they would not want TW dungeons to completely invalidate the new heroics.
I was about to do M+ but I discovered that it would take getting up to +7 just to unlock equivalent vault rewards to t8 delves which are a cakewalk so I just decided not to bother this time and just do my 8 delves a week.

This is a good time to level alts with timewalking dungeons, the gear rewards are not so great for 80’s.
Why should gear drops be powerful from 10 min pushover content?
Because it’s still heroic equivalent

I think 597 gear is good for facerolling 5 dungeons
I actually got a 606 from the quest reward. Pretty pleased with that!
