How is a series of inputs in a given order that can be derived from context yielding a positive result not a puzzle?
No matter what abilities you want to use via your sims, the actual game is different and is all RNG based. Not a puzzle
You haven’t even tried him yet. Try those moves with getting stunned a turn, needing to switch over, your other pet getting Merced, and losing your whole team

Because it isn’t a puzzle. Those moves won’t make you win. That is just the “best” attempt but the actual monkey stun locks you so any move you can make, you wont

I was lucky enough to have 2 healthy pets against monkey, and I spent the first pet dealing as much damage as possible before bringing in Wicker Pup as the closer.
If not for his corpse heal there’s no way I would’ve defeated him.
Aye, that is what I try. I have two healthy pets before the monkey comes in. First thing the monkey does is stun my pet, I bring out wicker pup. Use barkskin, dude then uses banna, I use corpse slash or whatever, he hits me so hard, by 2 barkskin I use corpse heal, he stuns me, I switch over back to 2nd pet. Monkey is faster than my hateful spark and just mercs him in two hits.
Monkey then keeps bananas ups and stun locks my wicker pup until death. Over 40 battles and only did 1 draw.

For all the complaining that we’re doing, I have to admit that I had a lot of fun doing it.
I usually just follow guides for which pets to use, so having to work it out myself actually felt great.
Each their own. I always hated pet battling in wow because it is so RNG based than strategy. It’s a poor man’s pokemon

6 o’clock you need mounts, toys and transmog. Good news is you just need to be around someone who does it and you get credit.
7 o’clock is an actual puzzle
Was able to get the debuff once, lost the pet battle a few times then went back to get the debuff again and now I can’t click on Zarhym. Is it bugged after that point?
did you loot the chest or kill the mobs? if so its a 24hr cd
once the debuf is gone you can still fight the pet master

Did you try logging out @ Zarhym and logging back in?
Also, don’t do anything but get to the pet battle. Make sure you aren’t emitting AoE damage or reciprocal damage if you’re hit.
And this step is going to get harder to complete whenever the new wears off of the hunt. Fewer people will have the required items to help you along.

That’s the team I used. Went 5/5 victories - So seems to work pretty well.
If you actually want good advice, Wicker Pup, Snowclaw Cub, and Spyragos are likely the easiest to get. Nelthara is easy if you already have a lvl 70+ Evoker.
To get the pets to lvl 25, just do the pet battle world quests that give pet tokens. Those are easily doable with lvl 1 pets. Use the tokens to buy ultimate stones.
Very few battles don’t have multiple options to beat them that will succeed every time, even with RNG. This specific battle is harder because you only have a very limited pool of pets to choose from.
