Many times more effective? You mean there is another way to spam frostbolt?
Good one lol
mag does hit like a kitten… his normal attack wil do 700-1000 to a tank in blues, who could easily have 5000 hp… thats not even 1/4 of their health.
and his frenzy only lasts for 8 seconds… which is not very long. and is easily mitigated through coordinated CD use…
sure… if all 40 of the players were complete morons they wont kill mag with 1 tranq… but the first 40 people into MC wont be morons
8 days
Many many ways, not just from pservers either…
You swap out raid members… I dont think the first full clear with be done with only 40 people, no matter if it is 5 days or 14 days after launch.
You only need one person with the rep and a team to summon them back after each use. The hour long CD was on the Eternal Quint not the regular one.
The WF kill of Classic content will have an army of people supporting the raid.
Raid damage is carried by fury warriors which were hardly utilized in retail vanilla. Casters are now far more efficient at gearing to maximize their dps. Raid compositions are now more or less optimized for maximizing damage and minimizing clear times. Everything about the playerbase is going to be different due to the knowledge that has been gathered over the years. It’s not going to be the same experience full of people that have no idea what they are doing. Maybe it will be for the bfa guilds.
Pre BiS Hunters carry the damage. Just because of how hunters work. With gear they quickly fall from the top of DPS Mountain Charley
Well, I’ve been guessing 6 days, so I’m not going to bet against.
Remember, folks: dungeon grinding is known to be substantially more efficient than solo leveling. Organized dungeon grinding by what is essentially a professional gaming organization is going to be VERY efficient. Possibly as little as 3 days of /played to get to level 60. And that doesn’t even mention other players in the guild who spend their time farming gold and various mats to make things faster for the core raid.
Even if such a professional gaming organization spent 16 hours a day grinding, it’ll only require 4.5 days to get to level 60 (or 6 days if it takes them 4 days of /played). At that point, everyone has dungeon gear. A few more runs for attunement and some gear upgrades, and you can zone 40 people into MC.
We’ll see if it’s possible in two weeks.
A lot of that can be done at the same time…
grind dungeons to level and you are geared when you hit 60…
the rep grind is a joke takes less than 10h for non humans, prob under 8 for humans and will gets you a full level in the process.
FR is not a problem…
don’t need 40 people to clear MC, but even still plenty of teams set up and ready to go.
Also Method will def not be winning because they are not trying… they have the race but no team which is competing.
Also my guess is the day before the reset but it all comes down to how fast people can grind 1-60, they day you have 40 people ready to enter MC you have it cleared.
Funny you mention that, there will be a number of players that will earn hundreds or even thousands of $$ doing exactly that:
So even if they don’t succeed, they will still come out ahead.
you do realize method is just hosting the event right… they are not actually putting a team together to try and get the world first…
The world record i think is 4.5 days
People will account share for 24/7 uptime, so I’m sure there will by 60s by this point.
- thats a solo record and it was 4 days 20 hours
- that record is 15 years old and super outdated current speed records are well under 4 days
- dungeon grinding is much more efficient as seen on the classic beta.
Ya…get 40 players geared and attuned to MC. Then also need at least one to grind the rep needed to get the water and put out the flames to summon Majardomo. If it happens in 5 days call me stunned…
So you won’t be amongst the first players then I suppose…
Did you even read my post? I specifically address the fact that dungeons are faster than SOLO leveling.
Kelzar has it right.
lol… ya man you got me. ouch. you must get all the girls with burns like that
With the anticipated launch issues, you’d be lucky to hit level 20 by day 5.
A raid full of people killing themselves to get to 60 in 5 actual days, like FRIDAY of next week, not sharing accounts (thats illegal!) and still having the mental ability and blood flow in their bodies to sit through a raid in greens and some blues?
lol
This is on a server that wont have stability issues or log in issues correct. I would expect both day 1 at least up to 3 or 4 hours if the servers are not brought down for a emergency maintenance. Funny no is mentioning how will the game handle day 1 in these predictions
