4K OLED if you’re gonna spend, plus you’ll have that 240Hz refresh rate.
Curved OLED will be just fine at 1440p. It’s what I use with a 3070. I don’t think you’re gonna see any major differences between the two imo.

With 4K you’re going to have to tweak the UI to make it look good and at 0.72 lose a whole lot of detail on screen, or use something much smaller, and change so many UI elements. 4K needs a lot of tweaking to look good and feel like it’s “worth it” in screen landscape. You’re also limited by your DP and HDMI standards for the fastest refresh rates.
4K is not the sweet spot for this game. But it’s a good ratio, so it works fine, it just feels a bit underwhelming. But if your gear is already 4K, you may as well.
Holy cow… thats all I needed to see… decision made, ty
4k is overrated tbh. 2k is good for both a quality image and decent framerate
For me personally 1440p on the best quality monitor you can get with a graphics card that can run any modern game at 1440 at 144fps or higher on max settings with ray tracing is the absolute bang for the buck.
Unless youre getting a 5k to 6k (monitor included) your 4k setup isnt going to run most games on 4k much more than 60fps.
I use Titan Panel, so I’ll never buy an OLED monitor. 1440p at 27" is my sweet spot, though.
I have absolutely no idea why that is comparable… what am I missing?
Titan Panel will burn into the top of the OLED monitor.
