Storm 7/8M is recruiting new raiders!

Storm is an alliance mythic raiding guild located on Sargeras US. Originally formed in late 2004 on Gilneas, the guild was later transferred to Sargeras for recruitment purposes.

We consider ourselves semi-hardcore while clearing content at a pace acceptable to the guild leadership. We are an adult guild primarily with average ages ranging from 20-30s range. Our atmosphere is primarily laid back for farm but serious during progression. We expect every member to have researched their class / spec / encounters etc. and make quick adjustments to ensure lower pull counts.

We aim to get a cutting edge achievement each raid tier if it is attainable within our raiding hours.

We are seeking to recruit individuals who are knowledgeable and keep up to date on their raiding spec(s) and sims. We aren’t a guild that is interested in carrying any one individual and will expect all members to keep up with maintaining their primary main character for raids on a weekly basis. That includes farming best in slot essences, obtaining AP for HOA, Weekly Islands Cap, Mythic + weekly cache, etc. If you are someone who likes to take frequent breaks from the game or gets bored easily doing the same things over and over, (ie raiding the same content every week or keeping up with dailies and mythic +), then this is not the guild for you. We like to have fun but we also want to progress at a rate we feel we can accomplish and we don’t want to be held back.

About us:
We are a newly formed guild on Sargeras made up of a handful of folks who’ve been raiding together for awhile as well as a few newer folks. We are a group of adults with lives outside of WoW… ok so that might be a bit of a stretch. But most of us do have jobs, spouses, kids, etc. keeping us busy IRL, so when we log into the game, we’re here to have fun and unwind. With a limited 2-day schedule, we do take raid time seriously, but we also value our fairly relaxed, social atmosphere.

Our focus is on completing AotC every tier, and then we will tackle mythic fights as time allows. We will not push for mythic progression at the expense of our atmosphere

Fireside is a small Heroic Raid Team on Proudmoore (US) that always achieves Ahead of the Curve together. We are interested in meeting new friendly people who want to join our team. We periodically set goals for our raid team members to meet such as gear ilvl and Heart of Azeroth level. Towards the end of heroic raid progression, we keep it interesting by working on easy mythic raid bosses, getting raid achievements together, and sometimes reducing raiding to one day per week until new content is released. Our environment is friendly, chill, and also earnest towards downing content. Our goal is to ever grow as a team, so we expect our raiders to know their role and class, keep up with their gear, keep up with class changes, and to have a good team attitude.

We choose to remain a Heroic Raid Team and do not have plans for Mythic Raiding in the near future. (We will dabble in mythic, if heroic content becomes farmable, but not to a big extent, maybe the first couple bosses)

Schedule: Friday &; Saturday 7:30pm-10:00pm PST (10:30PM-1:00AM EST)

  • Optional Normal Night: Wed 7:30pm-9:30pm Normal Raid
  • Monthly Off-Week: We take one week off from raiding per month. Though our Off Weeks slow our progression, we feel that it is a nice trade-off to have a free weekend for other things every month and also to preserve enthusiasm for the game.

Hello,

Extenze(A-Sargeras) is looking for more to help round out our mythic roster. We are a laid back group of friends that are looking for more fun people to push mythic content with. Our goal is CE, and we are looking for more that can help us achieve that.

Right now, we are looking to build up our roster for 8.3. We finished AEP at 5/8M and BoD at 6/9M. Our schedule is Tuesday/Wednesday, 9pm-12am est.

On off nights, we like to do alt runs, run keys (gearing alts and/or pushing high keys), world PvP, BG’s, and dip our toes in about all forms of content.

Overall, we have a strong focus on our community. There are some players here that are amazing, and could easily join a top 100 US guild - but they stay because the atmosphere we’ve created here is really fun. Our community is something I’m proud of and is easily the greatest thing our guild has to offer, and we are always looking for more to share it with.

Retaliation is an alliance heroic progression guild that has been raiding and playing together in various games for over 10 years. We enjoy giving each other a hard time while still being successful.

Good morning,

Its Bloodlust Not Hero is recruiting dps for our Fri/Sat night, 8-11 pm EST raid team, getting ready for 8.3. While we are recently moved to Thrall, the guild has been around for about 6 years, with some of us having raided together since Wrath. We are a 21+ adult guild with an often bawdy sense of humor.

To round out our group we are currently looking for a spriest with a heals offspec. Ranged dps of any kind is always welcome!

We are currently 8/8N ,8/8H EP, and achieve AoTC for every tier. We may fool around with some mythic bosses but mythic progression is not our main goal. We have families and work schedules and raid to relax and have fun. On off nights we run m+ and islands and prefer to do that with guild groups. We are also willing to help gear up guildies. As we have a few members who want to switch mains for 8.3, we are currently just running a Friday night heroic clear until 8.3 releases. We are looking forward to new content!

We just transferred to the largest alliance server in the game, Stormrage! We are making an aggressive push to recruit those who have what it takes to achieve Famed Slayer+Hall of Fame in the final raid tier of BFA and going forward. Finished US 140 for Mythic BoD. Killed Jaina multiple times before the hardcore nerfs and reclear her every week.

We push people to get 1 heroic clear and 1 mythic 10 plus a week done. This is required for our mythic raiders. As long as there is forging in the game people should be fishing for titanforges.

More about the guild: This is a semi-hardcore mythic progression focused guild first and foremost. We are an extremely active guild, the most active on the server, and more active than most servers/guilds. Our people do not just log on for raids once or twice a week. Our average age range is 21-33. We enjoy PvP- arenas, rbgs, bgs, wpvp, Mythic+, achievements. We have a very laid back but like to get stuff done kind of atmosphere when it is not raid time. When it is raid time, we get focused and serious and competitive in a non toxic results oriented manner. Very active and supportive guild filled with awesome human beings. Hi, we are Eternal Embers a group of 5 people looking for members for a Heroic mode raid group whos goal is to experience the content. We are a older group and been playing together for the last decade together. We are aiming for a solid 10 (13+) raid size group that work on killing the content together. Haunted by Murlocs ( 6/8M tEP ) is an active raiding and M+ guild looking to recruit exceptional raiders for our three raiding teams to push for Cutting Edge in the upcoming Ny’alotha, The Waking City raid.

The Who:

We are a community of people from various parts of the world with a semi-hardcore approach to mythic raiding based on Area52 Horde . We emphasize having fun while pushing content. Our leadership comprises of a GM council and an Officer team. We have three active raid teams raiding at different times and on different days catering to our roster’s raiding needs. Each Raid team has its own Raid Leader with the calls of the RL for the raid being final.

We also have an active community of Mythic+ and RBG players. We push high keys and have a few guild friends who hang out in our discord for pushing keys and stuff. Our RBG team queues to drink the blood of alliance on Sundays at 6:00PM - 8:00PM EST . Be it raiding, Mythic+, RBG, or just casually playing the game, we welcome you with open arms.

We have three active raiding teams - AM , WE and PM . Each raid team’s timings are listed below:

  1. The AM team (6/8M) raids for 3 days a week for 3hrs a day on Wed/Thu/Fri 10:00AM-1:00PM EST with an optional raid on Tue at 11AM-1PM EST .
  2. The WE team (5/8M) raids for 2 days a week for 4hrs a day on Fri/Sat 9:30PM-1:30AM EST .
  3. The PM team (6/8M) raids for 3 days a week for 3hrs a day on Tue/Wed/Thu 8:00PM-11:00PM EST .

The Needs:

We are looking for exceptional raiders to fit in to our three raid teams - AM, WE and PM. We require different class/spec combinations for each team, and you can find each team’s requirements below.

  • AM team is looking to recruit a dk with a viable blood OS, a healer with dps OS and a few exceptional dps especially a Mage for Ny’alotha.
  • WE team is looking to recruit a dk dps with viable blood OS, a dps with healer OS and a few exceptional dps for Ny’alotha.
  • PM team is looking to recruit a healer with dps OS and a few exceptional DPS preferably for Ny’alotha.

The Requirements:

  • The player must also transfer to Area52 Horde side if wishing to trial/raid mythic with us for obvious reasons.

The Rules:

  1. Trials are brought in depending on the needs of the raid on the day and are expected to be available for the duration of the raid they are trialling with. If the performance exceeds expectations, trials will be inducted into the raid team as raiders. Should you fail your trial you would be demoted to a member rank and can request trial later to retry for a raider spot.
  2. Discord is required for all guild raids and is expected to be kept clear for callouts and stuff. We use Jeeves authentication to ensure the security of our discord server and is required to be able to use the server.
  3. Attendance to raids is mandatory despite your rank. However, we understand life happens and if you are unavailable due to any issue, posting out on discord with the date of absence is required to ensure your trialling remains in good standing.
  4. All loot that is looted by a player belongs to the player unless the player willingly on his own discretion gives it up for rolling. The item is then rolled through a loot council comprising of one of the officers/GMs, raid leader and a randomly selected raider that are in the raid.
  5. All BoEs that drop during the raid go to the guild to fund the repairs, feasts and cauldrons provided in the raid.
  6. Players are required to know their class to the levels expected out of a raider and research boss mechanics ahead of the raid. Players are also expected to show up fully enchanted and gemmed before the raid with the best pots they are supposed to use.
  7. Raiders are required to have the following addons to raid with us; DBM/BigWigs for boss mods, Angry Assignments for role assignment, WeakAuras2 for quality of raiding improvement and RCLC (Core, Group Gear, Extra Utilities) for raid loot distribution.
  8. Drama will not be entertained, and repeated drama would result in a guild kick.

We are a progression focused guild that realizes real life happens. We are not seeking server firsts; however, we do want to clear the top tier content. We were founded in Vanilla on Alter of Storms were we consistently made server second kills. However, the population on AoS was dwindling so we transferred to Stormrage in 2012 where we remained in the top 10-20th guild. With the Alliance raiding population dwindling we transferred to our new home, Area-52 in 2019 with the expectation of continuing our long-standing success.

In short, if you are looking for a consistent guild that makes progression targets, without the demands of those in the World First Race, Dominion may be the place for you.

Hey there Surahn!

If you are just looking to have fun raiding, but don’t want to be stuck in a hardcore grind every week, I think you’d have fun with us in Iron Knights -[H]Tichondrius.

We are a guild of laid-back adults and enjoy inflicting cringe-worthy or gut-busting stories on each other between bosses during raid. On the flip side, we are a very tight-knit group and often go out of our way to help each other, and we even hold a yearly guild get-together for members able to make it.

Our guild has been raiding since BC, and we consistently complete AotC; occasionally taking a bite at mythic when time and numbers allow, but never to the point where we’re stressing over it and spending all night on a single boss. In addition, we’re happy to bring in undergeared and fresh mains with us on non-progression bosses to help with the gearing process. We like to joke that we should rename our guild “Outgear the Content”. We also regularly run mythic+, working to set up groups so that all raiders have guaranteed 10+ chest to open each Tuesday, with many of our members happy to run extra as needed.

We have an extremely active discord where we post information concerning strategies, m+ groups schedules, as well as whatever we’re interested in at the time (#baby-yoda, #pets, #food, etc.).

Raids are Tues/Thurs 9-12 EST and we typically schedule M+ runs on Wednesday evenings.

Greetings Fenrirulv,

We are a group of retired progression raiders that have come back to the game after our own personal hiatuses. We are mostly working professionals (adults) who log into WoW to unwind and have some fun. At some point in all our WoW careers, we have pushed progression content prior to taking a break. Now, we are back and reforming with a good core & would like to raid casually. We enjoy doing guild runs (raids, mythic +, islands, etc).

What we are looking for:
We are looking for players that want a casual, 2 night a week raiding experience. This guild would be a good choice for you if you are new to raiding, coming back to raiding after a hiatus, or have suddenly found yourself in the midst of being an adult and have less time to dedicate to the game than you used to.

We are looking for a healer with a DPS o/s, as well as ranged DPS but will consider all . Although some of us have pushed Mythic progression, we will likely stay a heroic team at this point (at least for this expansion).

Raid nights:
Fridays & Saturdays, 930-12 midnight EST . First raid will be 1/19 @ 930pm EST starting with Ny’alotha (normal).
