It’s under the motto of exploit early exploit often.
Looks like the threshold is either 378 or 379.
On my warrior alt at 377 it was still 380 reward, but after running warfront and pvp to raise it to 379 the reward scaled to 385.
The Warfront gear then was below what most people had. It was really only used for alts.
The ilevel 400 thing is different, as it throws any sort of progression out the window since casual players are allowed to have armor equivalent to that of a Heroic Raid. What’s the point in progression if it’s just handed to you?
It’s almost like giving away 2 heroic pieces of loot every week would be bad for the longevity of content. Other than everyone, who knew?
OMEGALUL
Character
Another day, another day farming horde FPs
Wrong about what. I’ll camp FPs day after day and will come back to more and more horde QQ since 60/40 horde is just too difficult for them to survive.
oh they were wrong about thinking the dev’s decision to give the alliance free 400 ilvl gear was because they felt that the alliance didn’t have a cool enough story and they felt bad about them getting horse mounts. They called me a troll. Look at them now. No 400 ilvl next week. I guess you really didn’t deserve it.
Your character is also bad. Good luck killing people.
I get free 400s from raid, M+s and conquest. I’m not worried you wouldn’t see me crying if horde had to deal with 80/20 Alliance in wpvp and got a 400 gear quest.
my paladin got a titanforged 410 piece from normal dazaralor, a 400 piece really isn’t that big a deal when you can get near mythic quality gear from normal.
No that would be stupid. How many people out there do you think disenchanted the old gear that they had? This is the same as when Horde got to farm Arathi without needing a minimum amount of Item level so they quickly geared fresh 120’s while Alliance had to gear properly with dungeons.
They would only remove them if it was gained through a bug such as when a ton of Horde abused the Darkshore WB bug for a ton of 385 gear.
it was one piece of ilvl 400. Horde will also get a 400 when it’s your turn to attack Darkshore. A single item won’t change anything, it’s only 15 item levels over the gear average casual players that don’t do endgame content will have very quickly (385).
Ion himself admitted he wants it like this. With WM it used to be pretty balanced at the start of BFA but because of their shard problems Alliance where getting stuck in shards with a massive number of Horde players and turned it off. After they fixed the issue the Alliance player base never recoverd.
At the same time as Alliance where turning it off Horde pve players all turned it on for the free 10% stuff and this is what broke WM causing the balance to get much much worse.
Blizzard wants to use players to fix this, by having Alliance actively hunt down Horde players it’s causing these pve players abusing the system to turn it off, he said himself the massive difference is quickly changing which will, in turn, lower/ get rid of the extra bonus Alliance players get.
If it was a quest for both factions then the rest of the Horde player base would turn WM on which causes more issues. WM was not made for every player and those Horde players who use it for the bonus without pvping (trust me there are more of them then pvpers.) ruined things for everyone.
I do think Blizzard needs to add more weekly and daily WM quests for both factions as that would be very fun.
i like your tantrums, they make me laugh, you should post more often.
This is not true he never said that. He did say we get 30% if it’s a MASSIVE difference in WM pop and that it will go down as that changes.
He said at the start of BFA there was not a big difference before Alliance got screwed over by sharding. While Alliance players were leaving because of this issue Horde pve players started to turn it on for the free 10% with no Alliance to bother them. This is why we get a quest to hunt you down till those pve players quit WM and it’s removed.
Well you should if that happened. If there is a quest to group up and kill the other faction but only one faction gets that quest then it’s a joke. It’s just groups roaming looking for weak players. It doesn’t help the overall situation for the faction with fewer numbers.
It will be 385 next week.
M0 had been out for a month already by the time warfronts first came in. What decent player couldn’t hit 120 AND get a full set of 340 in an entire month of M0? Don’t be ridiculous.
Even if warfronts were out on day 1, it takes so bloody long to get a random piece (which might not even be on a slot that you need the upgrade on), it’s still more worth doing M0 which is both quicker, AND you can target specific boss loot/slots.
Even? Is that a joke?
Season 1 Week 1: Horde gets first 100% chance to one heroic piece of raid loot. Alliance gets a possible chance from World Boss.
Season 2 Week 1: Alliance gets 100% chance at TWO heroic pieces of raid loot. Horde gets nothing. Not even the World Boss.
And powergear alts? Seriously? Ya’ll could have done Mythic0 for the entire month it was up before Warfronts. It’s faster, has more loot, and you can target specific slots.
Typical Alliance player. It’s only “fair” if ya’ll have ridiculous advantages. Disgusting. No wonder no one wants to play Alliance, what’s left of your faction are one whiny, entitled bunch of kids.
Typical Horde player. No Horde advantage is actually an advantage. No alliance problem is actually a problem.
Let me guess. Our population isn’t 1/3rd or less of yours. We just like to whine.
We don’t have raiding recruitment problems. We just suck.
We don’t have M+ grouping issues. We’re just terrible.
We don’t have PvP problems due to population. We just don’t like to PvP.
It’s funny how you love to be the fan of the scrappy underdog faction that is, at the moment, anything but scrappy, or underdog.
Let me put it to you this way: The 400 gear isn’t some kind of “neat treat” that the devs just “accidentally” gave to us and not you on accident. This gear will change nothing. We have a zero percent chance that we are going to capture any kind of world first, zero percent chance to get any kind of achievement before the Horde, a zero percent chance to fill any kind of leaderboard before the horde, and a completely zero percent chance to even have a faction-wide competition for leaderboard spots since what’s actually going to happen is Horde guilds are going to end up selling those spots for gold.
You’re talking about “fair”, and I just don’t believe you have the first clue what “fair” actually looks like.
Alliance has a population problem. Without incentives to get people to actually play Alliance, there is zero chance that the problem gets fixed. So, exactly how do you propose that the issue get fixed (and it does need to be fixed somehow, or else the game dies)?
If the solution isn’t “give the Alliance things you don’t give the Horde to get people to play Alliance in spite of the horrible, crippling population disadvantage just joining the faction forces you to deal with”, then how do you propose they fix the Alliance population problems the devs’ total botched mis-management of the game has led to?
Answer that for me.
