3 Gloves and a neck, the neck I got Friday so that was a wash then the gloves were the same M+ gloves I spent points to get to 272 and Catalyst to tier…

The vault has no guarantee that won’t happen. You made the choice to invest the valor and CC charge.
There was no protection either in BfA that your 1 and only drop wouldn’t be a repeat or take any consideration what slots you wanted. The vault is WAY better.

We’re not a hivemind. The people complaining now aren’t the people complaining then.
I would like a way to target slots or at least for the vault to be considerate enough to look at our current legendary slots and not generate a drop for those spots if it is also our loot specialization and I would also like there to have been hard/grindy to acquire vault reroll tokens, but I’m happy enough that the vault at least doesn’t troll by giving multiples of the same item at the very least.

Well since no one else does it il thought I would say that my vault was a perfectly normal random spread of gear. Nothing abnornal about it.

Why would you ever want that? Sometime you want bigger chance for specific trinket and weapon.

Duplicate item protection yes, slot protection no.
The game doesn’t really know if you don’t want one ring but could want another one.
The only thing it distinguishes is that two identical pieces are irrelevant as a choice.
Imagine having a trinket in one vault slot immediately negating the chance of any of your other slots containing the trinket you want. Sounds not so pleasant in my opinion.

Pretty sure I’ve seen every neck and ring at least a couple dozen times at this point.
Weekly (and daily) loot is broken. Badly.

The vault surely uses some kind of weighted logic to give you higher odds of the lower stat budget items over the higher ones. I’ve pretty much consistently got 3 slots every weak this season and I’ve yet to get a 278 weapon or even a S3 trinket. And while I certainly didn’t get 3 slots per week in S2 every week, I still went all of S2 with no weapon offerings.

It’s about to be they due to nothing in 4 weeks. Gonna run 1 mythic+ and call it a week.
I know how its suppose to work, Its just become a running gag within my Guild that nobody bothers to loot their Vault til after Raid because a lot of people Vault pick is the 1/12 drop they get for the week…
An yes I have had the same exact item in both M+ slots, while also getting that armor type in my Raid section while also gettin said slot to drop from the raid…
Here are mine. All of them thru M+. ilevel of my loots increases every week or two. All of them are all upgrades. Week1 is from M+5s/+6s. Week11 is from M+14s/+15s.
Week1 : Bracers, Boots, Neck… Boots Chosen
Week2 : Gloves, Neck, Bracers… Gloves Chosen
Week3 : Cloak , Boots… Boots Chosen
Week4: Range Weapon, Neck, Gloves … Range Weapon Chosen
Week5: Trinket, Helm, Tier Legs … Helm Chosen… Already got Tier Legs
Week6: Trinket, Trinket, Helm … Trinket Chosen
Week7: Chest, Gloves … Gloves Chosen to be converted on Creation Catalyst - 4 set bonus unlocked
Week8: Tier Chest, Cloak, Tier Gloves … Tier Chest Chosen upgrading LFR Tier Chest
Week9: Tier Legs, Neck, Helm … Neck Chosen
Week10: Ring, Ring, Bracers … Ring Chosen
Week11: Bracers, Boots, Shoulders … Shoulders Chosen to be converted on Creation Catalyst
11 Consecutive Weeks of all Upgrades. And I have a very high chance of another upgrade next week becoz I havent chosen an ilevel 278 loot yet on Vault.
Gearing is so very easy on me in Shadowlands. You might find my upgrades so slow. I dont mind. I am not in a hurry. What do you expect on 100% PuGs? I am on the right direction.
I dont think Vault is good for those who reached M+15s right away. ilevel 278’s for more than 5 weeks? Expect duplicate/triplicates. On me, it doesnt matter if I have duplicate, becoz the current Vault would have higher ilevel since I improve my keys every week or two.
