UPDATE:

Looks like dataminers discovered the DisplayIDs of these new four Allied Races.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Allied race 15: Kyrian (shares crest id with void elf, so potentially Alliance)
Allied race 16: Necromancers (maghar crest id, potentially horde) (internal name for Necrolords)
Allied race 17: Fauns (zandalari crest id, potentially horde) (internal name for Night Fae)
Allied race 18: Vampires (dark iron dwarf crest id, potentially alliance) (internal name for Venthyr)

I’m so hyped about this. Which Allied Races do you think they are?

I think we’ll unlock two ARs in prepatch (probably BFA-related, like Nightborne/Void Elves in BFA prepatch), and two more during SL (I think Night Fae and Venthyr).

Thoughts?

I’m hoping for Sethrak for alliance and Saberon for horde. I don’t like the idea of us bringing back races from shadowlands, even though I love the peoples we see so far.

But if I had to pick races from the shadowlands to make allied races, I would pick Swolkin for the Alliance and Venthyr for the horde (since they will never get san’layn…)

While watching some data mining I think Vampires came up in the character folder so I’m guessing venthyr will be one no clue on the second tho

Im honestly surprised they are adding more allied races. I figured they were done with that for a while. We almost doubled our playable race roster over the course of one expansion, and the new customization options incoming make certain allied races kind of a waste of implimentation, basically the reskins like junkers, HMT, LFD, DID, MHO. Only reskin that couldnt be made additional customization options would be velves, and only because of the difference in faction.

This being said, I’m both excited and worried about the addition of new playable races. I want more, but at the same time, I think we have enough.

Supposedly one of ID’s is Tuskar and Vrykul. - random regular in a wow discord server, who got this information from the wowhead twitch stream.

Tuskar for Horde.

Vrykul for Alliance

I doubt it’s anything Shadowlands related, those races are pretty explicitly neutral in that regard.

My guess: Gilgoblins and Ankoan.

Ooh! I change my answer. Manari for horde instead of saberon. The horde needs to know the glorious /waggle of the draenei.

yeah, Manari might actually convince me to play horde for good. I just cant go without the /waggle.

Plus, its not like blizzard is going to give alliance anything to try and rebalance the factions, they are just giving the horde everything cool and hoping that they can end the faction war by making everyone play horde.
