I will laugh so hard if they announce classic cata and nothing about Vanilla classic + plans.
I’ve got all my popcorn ready to go! There will be riots, and we get a new “Don’t you guys have phones? / You think you do” PR blunder.

Yeah, if the “new” Blizz comes out and drops the ball…it’s gonna be pretty funny/sad.

There’s a difference between having expectations of something we know is going to happen, and having expectations for something that is basically a complete fantasy concocted through rumors and speculations.
Blizzard is more likely going to announce Cataclysm Classic. I sincerely hope they announce Classic+. I would play it if they did and it turns out to be everything everyone hopes it would be.
But I don’t trust Blizzard to be able to deliver that kind of experience and given their track record over the last ten years developing “new” games I don’t understand how anyone can expect Blizzard to just fart out what is essentially a completely different game.

I don’t have any expectations, just hoping and praying…I’ve been playing Blizz games since W1 and have seen the studio from the good times to the not so good times, make good choices and bad ones.
Of course, it’s the layup! Or at least that was Activision mindset, we can only hope that with M$ having more money than God, that they put gamers first and not profits.
And that’s totally fine! In fact I don’t blame you…I do on the other hand because of the people making/doing the project, will it be perfect if it happens? No… Can they do a good enough job in the spirit of Classic to make it worth it? Yes…

Na, the trash classic ommunity does not deserve classic+. Hell without HC era was rotting proving you think you do but you dont was correct
