Make your own personal group and go in as a raid then… you’re asking them to change the dynamic and a whole system just because you want in quicker. Do what everyone else does either quest or minimize and wait. If you play a pure DPS class, this is what you should have expected and it shouldn’t be changed.
I feel dude has a sense of entitlement… like, “blizzard I’m impatient, make this faster for me!”

yea but max level dungeons is only 3 dps why practice and learn on something that isn’t realistic?

They 100% should do this for mythic keystones as well, not just leveling dungeons
Leveling dungeon queues for DPS range from 5-15 minutes. That is not long. Play a tank or Healer if you cannot find other leveling options while you wait.
I want those comp stomp npcs that fill roles that are taking too long.

That’s not true. Sorry. I am playing a tank and I just sat in queue for 20 minutes with 3 other DPS waiting on a healer.
And the thing is, the healer npc would be the easiest to fill. Basically just apply an “Elune’s blessing” debuff that heals all players for 5% of their hp every second or something, it will be fine in 99% of dungeon encounters. Maybe they cast a sunfire every now and again too.
I don’t really want to go NPC for groups. If that’s the topic you want, make it.
I think it’s a bad idea for an MMO to do this. I think that is a mistake FFXIV is doing.
Since when has That ever stopped them?

I mean I’m okay with the flight change LOL and think the hunter survival class is great and so was the original survival, should have done it to BM imo.
But you are correct… like the addition of all the temp power that no on wanted or liked.

You’d end up with even fewer tanks and healers.
Like I said… who the heck wants to babysit a 4th DPS player? It’s bad enough already.
You guys are way too much into the “ME ME ME I NEED THIS” and spending too little (if any) thought on why people don’t want to do that for you in the first place.
I’m sure it will loop like this:
More dps allowed in > more tanks and heals going dps because there’s more slots and they were just filling roles > open up to 5 dps > less tanks and heals again
Until we reach raids and, oh look at that; 2/4/16. Now we don’t need tanks because we killed the demand.
More short term gains for long term losses. Maybe they should try bringing back vengeance. I have seen an increase in tanks since they brought back over powered tier bonus’

This makes no sense at all. Tanks don’t give a crap at all, if they’re doing their job properly then it doesn’t matter if there are 2 other people, 20 other people, all the mobs are focused on them. Healers would care about having an extra person to heal, but not if mechanics were balanced so that damage intake were roughly similar to now. Assuming Blizzard has a clue how to balance the numbers (giant stretch I’ll admit), there’s no difference between balancing 1 healer for 5, 6, 10, 20 players, it’s all just number tweaking

That’s the thing, though… every time tanks start to have fun, DPS players complain and get it nerfed.

Who is doing the interrupting, stunning, knockbacks, etc.?
If you think the only thing tanks are doing in dungeons is holding aggro, well…

And Blizzard would absolutely increase the number of mob abilities that need to be stopped by 33%, if they added a 4th dps. No question about it. Which means more work for the tanks to clean up after.
Not an issue in organized groups, since DPS players in organized groups know they have to help. But in pugs? heh
If you think Blizzard actually thinks that carefully about things rather than just releasing random tuned crap at the wall to see what sticks, you really haven’t played WoW before
Look at day one Mechagon Junkyard vs Lower Karazhan which Blizzard released as being the same difficulty, you think they’re paying any attention whatsoever?
